:yikes:Perhaps they should learn how to count to 12, and they could avoid costly mistakes like that in the future! Besides if he wanted to run for those six yards, he couldve thrown it to Shiancoe who was crossing in front of the linebackers and got the same result as running.

dont know what is available in your area. or what it would cost to rent. Maybe buy a new tandem axle car trailer use it and sell it afterward. Might be about the same as renting. I also have thought about buying an enclosed trailer for stuff like that. Can also convert it for sleeping etc. Might work for trailering my bike to a M and E for me. My wife wont ride, so if I trailer it, She can come along!

Fun game to watch, glad neither was my team. Credit Vikes defense for keeping it close. That many turnovers and still go to overtime. Must of had 6 fumbles or so, lost 3. 2 picks, the last one might not of happened except for 12 MEN IN HUDDLE. May have changed the play call. It was kind of like "the game nobody wanted to win". Felt bad for Favre, not his fault, got the crap beat out of him. Anyway should be a good superbowl

My son shot it with a youth model .243 at about 85 yards. made a nice shot on him too. Actually thanks goes to my brother who had a shot at him earlier that morning and let him go so one of my 2 boys could get a crack at him. We always let the boys shoot theirs first. And we get to shoot the left overs. It worked out so that my son went with his uncle because of the size of the deer stand. My stand was bigger, so my older son and I sat in that one. So if i'd go on a diet maybe I could've been with my boy when he shot his first deer. And one final note, my other son and I didnt see crap.........

I just purchased some fishtails made by V-Twin mfg. Also known as Tedd's V-Twins I believe. Anybody familiar with them? I didnt have to break the bank to get them so I figured what the heck. Has anybody heard how they sound? Look forward to hearing from anybody who knows of them. If nobody has heard of them, then I guess I'll be the guinea pig.

This year was a slow year for us, Alot of flooding on our ground that we normally hunt. Here is a picture of my sons 1st deer taken last year. Its all downhill from there.....

6,000 power poles down, as of yesterday 12,500 people without power here in S. Dak. Will be more if the wind picks up. Most of damage ranges from southeast diagonally up to the northwest. Lucky for me i am in the northeast, got missed by most of it. I have been through these before and I feel for ya. Hope it straightens out soon. Still lots of ice built up on powerlines yet.

We were supposed to get hammered up here in S. Dakota as well. Havent seen any news lately, but where I'm at we've been lucky. Not much of anything as far as snow. We were told as much as a foot on top of a bunch of ice. We have had 2 days of that drizzle, but hasnt turned real cold yet. When it does there will be alot of ice skating, including on the highways.......

So I finally decided to get the fishtails, and JC Whitney doesnt offer the 36 inchers anymore. I found some others on Ebay for same money so I got them instead. Hopefully they will be here in a week or so. I am planning on making my rear mnt. bracket by mounting on inside of pipe next to frame. I can weld it with my wire welder so any discoloration should be hidden. The rest of the bracket could be painted with hi temp black paint, and should be hard to see. Anybody else have any ideas besides using a P clamp? By the way the pipes i got are made by V-Twin Mfg. Anybody know or heard them before?

What do you suppose the media would say if it was the Jets-Vikes in the superbowl. And if the Jets won, what would the Brett Favre people say about that one? Not trying to start anything, but kinda wondering. Would love to see Jets and Saints cause of both teams past history. And wouldnt be terribly disappointed to see the Vikes finally win one either. But I must say, I am not a Vikes fan. Growing up, my sisters loved Fran Tarkenton and the Vikes. You automatically cannot root for your sisters teams. This year may be a bit different though. Both Greenway and Leber are South Dakota boys, so I probly will make an exception!

Eagleeye gets the credit for these, they are H-D stock diameter lenses, 83mm i think, not sure. Anyway you can find them on this site http://www.crazybikerusa.com/. Take off your lens, and the trim ring, you have to reverse trim ring around and the bullets should fit. If the trim ring isnt a separate piece, i dont know if they will fit. Hope this helps. By the way cost is about 20 bucks. -
I called the Yamaha dealer, and he said the strat lens is a different style. It is a sealed lens that the bulb goes into, like a auto headlight. You would have to hollow it out yourself. The stock H-D style ones will bolt up easier

eagleeye gets the credit for these.... They are a standard sized H-D lens. I ordered them from http://www.crazybikerusa.com/. They are just replacement lenses, nothing more. I believe the actual size is 83mm, not sure. On my tour deluxe you remove the lens and trim ring, you have to reverse the trim ring around and they match up nicely. Piece of cake, takes about 5 minutes to put them on. They cost about 20 bucks delivered to your door. They come in clear, smoke, yellow, and red. Took about 4 days to get em.

sunday afternoon i made the long treck down to the Cabelas store. It was 33 degrees, and felt so good that i left my coat in the car and made the long walk across the parking lot in my shirt sleeves. Its a long ways from the -45 we had last week.

Thanks, one more question, did you use a 32 inch long or a 36 inch long pipe. My slash cuts are 32s, and they just clear the rear of the saddle bag
-
This may have been covered before and I missed it, if I did, I apologize. Anyway I am thinking of adding fishtails to my bike. Already have Barons slash cuts, so I thought that maybe a cheap set of fishtails might be fun. Can't get much louder! Checking into the JC Whitney fishtails, i found that they are smooth pipes with no rearward mounting brackets at all. Are they ok to run just mounted to the headpipe only? You could use a "P" hanger bracket of some sort, but wouldnt look that good. If anybody is familiar with em I would appreciate hearing from you.
