  1. If you drill em and dont like em you're screwed. I'd wait a few months and save a few bucks. You can get some deals if you look. I just posted on your other thread, its an option that may not break the bank....
  2. http://www.kcint2.com/c=zNEUd69DLR1N44krCSDwLLExm/product/90-MUFFLER-MEG-09/KCINT-CUSTOM-SLIP-ON-MUFFLER-SET-FOR-HARLEY-DAVIDSON-TOURING-1995-2012.html These are supposed to be CFR knockoffs. CFR is a performance pipe that some HD guys run. I havent heard them in person (CFR origionals)but did listen to them on you tube. If you want loud they would be just the ticket. If these aftermarkets sound like the CFR's 199 a set would be a steal. I'll try and post a link of a set of CFR's as well. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-a6QN4XP_8&feature=related]Rinehart VS CFR Slipons - YouTube[/ame] These are CFR knockoffs, I wouldnt be surprised if it is this very same pipe. Much different than Rineharts, and everybody has heard Rineharts. Must be a million bikes out there with the Rineharts....Much deeper and louder. Put them on a V-4 and they would be wicked. I had a set of fishtails on my RSTD......they lasted a month, and I put my Barons Bag Slash's back on. The Barons sound nice after I wrapped the baffles as much as I could. And by the way I like loud pipes, but the fish's were way to sharp sounding for me....

If you are on the outskirts of town, and sound wont get you in trouble. Just use a .22 cal and bird shot. Doesnt carry far at all, and will get rid of the back yard varmints. Easy for me to say though because I live in an rural area. I used to take one up in the barn and get rid of the pigeons etc. Never hurt the ceiling at all, and it did a number on the pigeons,,,,
  4. Went out and visited my brother in Denver a few years ago. He took us up Mnt. Evans. Its a good thing he drove the van. I dont like heights......I was ok when I got up there on top. The view is amazing ( look over at Pikes Peak etc.). On the way up, and the way down, I watched the movie "Grease" on my daughters portable dvd player because I couldnt take it.....
  5. Jeez, where do I start....... I drive a 2010 f -150 Wife drives a 2010 Toyota Highlander Oldest son drives a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am 85000 miles Other son drives a 98 olds 88 150,000 miles 2nd farm truck is a 96 Toyota Tacoma 165,000 miles.....doubles as a school driver in winter when snow gets too deep for the olds... and if I get the urge to pull a sled, I use my 1956 Minneapolis Moline GB propane....my photos have a picture of the restored Minnie. Out here in SD, seems like everything is at least 20 miles from where you are at. So you need lots of vehicles.
  6. Bikers with phones.....arent we a bunch of bad asses.......
  7. I dont know how we missed each other, I had my HD BLACK shirt on. (It was a button front shirt, not a Tee Shirt!). He had on a sleeveless Sturgis shirt if I remember right. We stuck out like a couple of sore thumbs........NOT!!!! How we missed each other I dont know
  8. I went to the breakfast at the school last year. A guy could meet out front at the entrance as well. If I remember right there was some benches or landscaping in front. You could meet there, and then everybody get in line together and go through. Once inside you could grab a table close to where the line filters around the gym. Then just watch for guys in Yamaha/venture shirts in case some are running late.....Might work that way as well.
  9. This is our South Dakota deer. The 1st pic is my 5 x 5 (10 Point), 2nd is my oldest sons 5 x 6 (11 Point, the 6th point is a little crab claw on the right side), and the 3rd is my younger sons 4x4 (8 point) with one tine busted off. All 3 were shot in a weeks time out of the same blind.
  10. Last year Tx and I tried a spur of the moment meeting at the Full Throttle during a Ted Nugent Concert......That my friends, does not work.........So we can scratch that one off the list. As it turns out we walked by each other and didnt realize it till after......We were so close!
  11. I think I still have Phonemans, and Tx's numbers stored in my phone yet, so I'm off to a head start.......
  12. If I put that much work into something, and have it turn out as nice as it did. I'd have posted about 3 pages of photos........Nice Job, give yourself an "Attaboy" for that one!
  13. I would sure be open to trying to meet up. I've almost met up with Tx2Sturgis, and Phoneman1981 last year. It does get hard to do in all those people, especially when everybody has their own groups that they ride out with. I dont know when I'm going out, but I am from SD and probly have a little more flexibility than you guys do. I met up last year with some friends who were staying in Spearfish. They were going for a ride around the area with a group from their campground. We met at a gas station in Belle Fourche, and gassed up. That worked real well, not 300,000 people around. We then rode to Alzada Montana, down through Hulett Wyoming and back into SD. Both of those towns have their own " Special Days" and get rowdy. But we didnt go then. And the ride was awesome, not alot of bikes in those areas. Maybe we were lucky, but it is kind of the northern hills, transition into the plains. More wide open etc....Maybe something like that is an option. But if we do something like that, I am not good with remembering where I've been, and I get messed up with directions. So I wouldnt make a good "Fearless Leader" on a deal like that. But I would definately be game for trying to meet one way or another.....
  14. I wonder how many times it rolled
  15. I thought that since it was titled fun on saturday. I was expecting a picture of a big deer, since it was opening day. Sounds like fun though......
  16. Sorry, Tebow is the reason I wont watch......Got beat out in training camp by 2 other qbs. I understand the 1st ones benching, but the 2nd string qb never got a chance.
  17. Since tonights game is Jets and Broncos (I'm a Broncos fan), I'm going to do the best thing there is tonight. I am going to watch Caddyshack instead.....
  18. I think what my dad started with the way he handled those items was, in the case of the flag. There is a proper way to dispose of a flag and a proper way to handle them. So selling one to a second hand owner for profit in his eyes is wrong. The bible is viewed pretty much the same to him. I guess he is a good old churchgoing veteran.....Now nothing is going to stop you from bidding on the box of stuff that they came in. After the box is sold, they will put those 2 items back in if you wish. But they wont ever take them out of a box and sell them individually.
  19. Our family wont sell individually either item. If it is in a box of stuff they will take them out and sell the box. They may give either item to the buyer, but we wont sell them to make money off of them.....
  20. My dad started an auction business over 40 years ago. I cant tell you how many sales ive been to in my lifetime. My brother still runs the company today. They are very successfull and do all sorts of sales. From household, antique, farm, and land sales. One thing is for sure (with the exception of land), there is always a bargain at a sale. You just have to look to find them. If you dont have a bargain every now and again. people quit coming. The one thing you see less of anymore is household sales. I think a big reason for this is the type of appliances etc we buy anymore. They are almost designed as use and throw away. They dont last like they used to. A little trivia here. What are 2 things you will probobly never see sold at a sale (other than guns if people selling are not licensed to do so)? The Answer.........The American Flag, and the Bible......
  21. Glad to see you were compairing bikes, not...........shoe size!
  22. After looking at the picture again, I'd like to have the truck in the background. Would be fun to restore.....
  23. Years ago my dad had a prize bull. It kept getting meaner and meaner all the time and he couldnt figure out why. Whenever he went out to the pen the bull would charge him etc. Finally one day dad looked out by the pen and there was my oldest brother and neighbor (about 10 years old at the time). They had their BB guns and were shooting at the parts that hang down between the back legs. Apparantly they were good shots because the bull had to be sold because he got so mean........
  24. I'll check in sometime as well....feel like listening to tunes, so I might share!
  25. I just noticed you have a 500 BUCK deductable........I supppose you only got to hit 499 more before you can collect.......insert rimshot sound here........
