I put the 404s on my rstd because I was looking for the wide white walls. I dont have anything really bad to say. But then again, I havent hardly ridden it this year. so the next owner will finish them off I guess.

Did Tebow beat the QB he replaced?.....Orton beat him without his starting running back, and Dwayne Bowe his best receiver left the game in 2nd quarter. Plus that was a game Denver needed to get into the playoffs on their own. This is the first game in my opinion that Tebow deserved a majority of the credit he was getting. During his win streak, he didnt turn the ball over. The defense kept him in it long enough to make a drive. 2 of the games they won during the streak the Defense scored at least one time. If you only put about 1 drive a game together, odds are you are coming from behind. And as far as Orton goes, started 3 games for KC. Beat the Packers, and the Broncos. And both of them won their divisions.....

I dont really look at injuries this late, because even if players are playing, they are all knicked up in one way or another. Yes I'd agree Pitts was more banged up by a long shot. The point I was making was that Denvers team rather than Tebow was what won it for them. Besides he still completed less than half his passes, and was almost matched in total yards by a guy who couldnt move. When I hear all the Tebow media etc. I cant help but think of John Madden and his love for Brett Favre, after awhile it gets old. Although I didnt mind Favre. Guess I will have to look for a different team next year, because I cant stomach another year of hearing that he should be pro bowl etc. He is a decent quarterback who is a gamer I'll give him that. Guess that leaves where I sit on the Tebow thing. And it definately isnt on his bandwagon.......

I have been a Broncos fan for 30 years, until now. All you hear is Tebow did this and Tebow did that. Yes he played good, but the reason he put up those numbers was Denvers line play. I bet he couldve stood there for 5 seconds or more before throwing, and he often did. I dont know of many teams that can cover receivers for 5 seconds one on one. Denver as a team outplayed Pittsburgh. Denvers D put up 5 sacks, and was in Roethlisbergers face all day. Thats the difference. When Denver wins, its Tebow, when Denver loses its the teams fault, according to the media. And by the way I'm not a Steelers fan either

I stopped and ate a late lunch at about 3 p.m. I gotta admit I'm not a big fan of DQ burgers, But the Snickers Blizzard is well worth it! Actually I was pretty full after the burger, but figured it isnt everyday in jan. where you can ride and have ice cream, so thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it.....

Just got back from a little vacation. The whole family went over to Wisconsin for a wedding. We stayed in the Neenah/Appleton area. I gotta tell ya, there is some pretty neat country over there. But I think my boys had the best time of us all. Since we were going for a new years eve wedding, some of the relatives were busy entertaining the rest of us. And of course being loyal Packers fans they are season ticket holders. So my sons got to use 2 of their tickets to see their first NFL game. Not a bad game to see for your first game I'd say!

I go to our local high schools basketball games alot. Our students have to work in the concession stand along with a supervisor. I really love to go and order a few different kinds of candy, plus popcorn and a pop. Then I give them a 10 or 20 dollar bill on purpose just to make them count change. If they dont get it right, I make them start over until they get it right, even if I have to help them count it.

I jumped on the bike this afternoon and took it for a quick ride down to my buddies place. It is only about 7 miles away, so I didnt put on the chaps, just threw on a stocking hat, gloves and my columbia winter jacket. Temp was low 40's, so it wasnt too bad. At about 80 mph on the highway my legs got cold though (no lowers). But that little ride sure did perk me up. I dont think Ive ever ridden a bike here in SD in december. The sun was about right here at 3:30 so I thought I'd snap a pic with my phone. I thought it turned out really good.

just an addition, I rode a buddies street glide awhile back. I like the fixed road glide fairing much better than the batwing. Much more room for a big guy. Maybe that has alot to do with it as well.

I bought an 2011 road glide custom this spring, still have my 08 RSTD. Due to a late spring planting season, my riding season didnt start till almost july. That being said I put almost 6000 miles on in July/August on my Road Glide. I put 17 miles on my RSTD in the same time. Maybe its the fixed fairing, and I think narrower front tire on the Glide (actually havent compared tire size), but to me the 2 bikes arent comparible. I know cost and maintenance are higher on the HD, but the ride is better for me. I like both motors etc. and I'm not a big proponent of the HD mystique. I dont care what you ride, all bikes are cool. But for me its a road glide. Will probly be getting rid of my Yammie next spring. Never ridden a Venture so I cant make the comparison.

Awhile back I read a post on a recall for HD baggers. It was a brake light switch. As it turns out mine is one that needs the recall. Along with all the talk on that subject I remembered that somebody mentioned that the goldwings had a similar recall. I called my buddy today and told him about the wing recall. He called me about 15 minutes later after checking on his bike. Turns out his wing needs to be checked over as well. So a BIG thanks to this site for helping others out..........

Took the wife out to the dealers lot today to look at a few floorplans and get an idea of cabinets etc. I was actually surprised, she found a floorplan she liked. We might be able to make this work yet.....

Speaking of "Tupperware", I've often wondered when opening up the trunk or bags. Do you get that "Burping" sound?

I talked to an old college buddy last night. His brother just put one of these homes on his farm in july. So I ended up calling and visiting with him as well. They said it was the best decision they've made in a long time, very happy with the quality. The company was very professional and really took care of them. They said they would do it again in a heartbeat. I guess I will have to look a little harder........

Dang Brian, you and I think alike.........

Im 45 years old now, and I hope to retire someday. Probly wont be living on the farm when i do.....But Im sure I can save between 40,000 and 50,000.

Anybody have any imput on this topic? Wife and I are contemplating building a new house. I know roughly what type of dollars we would be looking at for a stick built or even a redi built home moved to our farm. Today out of curiosity I stopped and looked at a few modular homes. I was rather impressed with what I saw, and some of the dollar figures impressed me even more. I can save alot of cash going this route. The mod would be put on a full basement just like the stick. Its obvious that there are things in the mod that arent as quality as the stick/redi built. So my question is, is it worth going with a mod for the savings? Or does it come back to bite you in the end? The stick we looked at is a very high quality home, kind of a cadillac I guess you could say. So id say the mod is more like a chevy. So am I fair to say both are good, and it is more like a chevy vs. a caddy?
