But Kevin, Aren't you worried the bike try to pull to the side with the one antenna sticking up causing drag on only one side, not to mention the extra weight on one side only?? Better pack some extra stuff on the opposite side of the camper trailer. That should fix it. Later, Scooter Bob

with Willie and Waylon and the Boys...and swing through Muskogee, Ok on the way, and catch a VR MD in Waller, TX on the way, and try to get obducted in Roswell, NM, and then maybe the 4 corners, and then Wolf Creek Pass a way up on the Great Divide, and meet an old friend in Colorado Springs, and then work my way back home. Should be fun. :banana:Gotta go find some serious after this long winter. Planning on leaving on Wednesday, the 23rd for a week and a half or two. Hoping to get to somewhere well west of St Louis on Wednesday night, and somewhere south of Muskogee by Thursday Night. Hope to be either to Conroe or Waller on Friday Night. We'll see how the weather co-operates with this plan. Gonna be at the S.E. Texas MD at Kregerdoodle's on the 26th and spend the night, and head to Luckenbach and stay there Sunday night. Kind of up in the air from there. Dynodon, Rick Haywood, EUSA1, anybody else, wanna meet for lunch in central IL next Wednesday?? Later, Scooter Bob

Honestly Jeff, what are you gonna do with a CB?? Mine has one. A couple time I rode in a group, and it was kinda handy to know when the next turn was. Otherwise, I've tried using it on the Big roads a few times, just to hear the truckers as to why the traffic is stopped in the middle of knowwhere on a sunny day. Truckers seem to be on the phone more than the CB now, so I almost never even bother to turn it on. Just my , Scooter Bob

Hey Bill, I've been running Amsoil 10-40 motorcycle oil in mine since the 8k change (77k now). Mainly cus the nearest yama stealer is 30+ miles away, and the local Fleet Farm is 3 blocks out of my way home from work. Just my , Scooter Bob

Looks like you need to trade that 08 for an 11 blue one to match the trailer. Heavier on the tongue weight always worked better for me, they say 10%, but I always thought they pulled straighter with closer to 20% on the hitch. And give yourself a little more stopping room all the time. Have fun with it, Scooter Bob

Not a bit. And the quick brake job on the front end of my truck today went a little bad, and I had to go back to the parts store for a $40 helicoil set and a couple replacement caliper pins. There's a little box that says "thread tool" at the top of any post, click that and click "subscribe". Also, you can go into your user CP and choose to get subscription automatically when you reply to a thread.

Dangit! T Shirt weather again in SC. I'm debating putting on my snowmobile suit again today just to get a little ride in. Can't wait for Vacation in a week and a half, ridin' to TX, should be able to catch up on the suntan there. So Joe, what is the next target if I decide to suit up today?

I just took a quick look in the tech section here, and didn't find the info I was looking for, but... I've seen a couple bikes that have been modded like this, and as I recall, they had done some custom trimming to the opening. Before you spend the bucks on the tape deck, you may want to compare your opening to an original, and see if the tape deck will fit properly. Otherwise, some that have done the stash box mod use an MP3 player in the stash box for choice of music. There's a AUX input cable right there to feed it through the audio system on the bike.
