  1. Can't tell you about the Yamaha bars, but here's a link to the Flanders bars I have been running since 2007. http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/product_catalog/Product.jsp;jsessionid=ZVQAJ0VZYP4BZQFIDYFCM4WAVAPAQIV0?store=Main&skuId=594175&mmy= I don't know if these are the same ones that guys run on the RSTD. I missed the end bar weights, (comfort and stability), so I cut the weld on the threaded inserts in the stock bars and welded them into the flanders bars to retain the weights. Good Luck, Scooter Bob PS. I'll send a PM to EagleEye from Sauk City on this site. I'm not sure, but I think he may have more of a beach bar on his RSTD.
  2. As others mentioned, lots of different types of back problems and causes. My current situation of herniated disc couldn't be helped by chiropractic adjustment because it was too late/too far gone. However, I've had vertibrae out of place in the past, and these are things a chiropractor most likely can manipulate back into position and get unjambed from the others and moving properly again. But, most doctors WILL NOT tell you that. (Doctor/Chiropractor are like 1st gen/2nd gen) They will most likely want to see an x-ray or take one themselves, and they will tell you if they think they can help or not. Since you say you have a vertibrae out of place, I would strongly advise you to consult a chiropractor before any more doctors try to use meds to fix/mask a mechanical problem. Just my , and best of luck, Scooter Bob
  3. Brad, aka Squidley, aka Cupcake, aka THE MUSHY POET. TO THE BOTH OF YOU Scooter Bob and Karen PS, You just cost me big time Buddy, Karen is always bugging me to write her a love letter.
  4. Hey Jonas and Greta... If your travels get you over to Southern Wisconsin, you've got a place to stay. Nothing fancy, but it beats a lonely motel if the honeymoon parts over? We'll pass on the Black Death (we tried it at MD last time you were here), but we do have beer and whiskey and other such ammenities. Later, Scooter Bob PS. if I know what direction you're coming from, I'll even put landing signs back up. http://tapatalk.com/mu/a6b5410e-039f-db54.jpg
  5. We've got yer Half Way House right here. But you better stop in and spend a night, halfway through yer journey through the north central states. Later, Scooter Bob
  6. Best of luck on your recovery. I know how you feel about missing the scoot. Doc said I should be Ok now after a week (back surgery), but Karen says I should wait till I don't need the Valium for muscle spasms anymore. She's probably right. Heal Well, Scooter Bob
  7. Ya, but isn't there a lot of water between here and Jerusalem?? Could be fun though, where is it Steve? EDIT never mind, Fuzzy put in the link while I was typin'
  8. :scratchchin:What, a HD air conditioner?? OOPS, did I just type that out loud?
  9. Now, if'n I could only think of some reason to ride my scoot from place to place, And get paid for it.
  10. Hopefully I'll be back on the scoot later this week, and I should be able to find one of those around here.
  11. HMM, Anniversary? Wonder why Squidley hasn't been on here yet this morning. Happy Anniversary You two.
  12. Ya, there's a few of us that could use correcting, me included. Welcome aboard Jerry, Scooter Bob
  13. Dangit, wouldn't actually play here either? Homeland Security or Drug Enforcement Agency are probably afraid it might give people ideas. Karen and I stopped on the way back from the fishin' hole a couple years ago and watched one flying right under the power lines and such, ya fun to watch for sure. Later, Scooter Bob
  14. Wishing Erika the best on a speedy recovery. And Jeff, go easy on her buddy, I'm pretty sure a bunch of "I told you so's" won't fix an infection. Later, Scooter Bob and Karen
  15. What was I thinkin', I should have figured. But I still couldn't do the mod. I've only got American number and letter and fraction drills, no metric ones.
  16. Still waitin' for mine, but I just sent it in 2 weeks ago. But what kind of restrictions?? I was hopin' to burn it up on fuel or hotels on the Cody trip. Later, Scooter Bob
  17. How much trouble was it finding split rings to fit them metric bolts??
  18. Fer Sure, I tried to look you up on the way back from the International last year, and stopped at the library in Peru and logged on to here and looked up yer number. Keep in touch, and best of luck to ya James, Scooter Bob
  19. How thoughtful of you, OWL:thumbsup2:
  20. He'd be a shoe in... Put them Weiner-Holder bumper stickers all over this, and hit the campaign trail...
  21. 4 of us VR.org couples went to the Casino in Marquette, Iowa a few weeks ago. We left enough money at the buffet:scratchchin:, no one saw a need to go out on the riverboat and leave them any more. Save it for Fuel:thumbsup2:
  22. Sounds like you should leave the pigmies in downtown Bogulousa, they'll either be drugged up or locked up, problem solved either way.
  23. Probably just as well Owen... That bike of yours is just too low to the ground to ride out into a field to participate. Hey Boss, feel free to move this to the "digs, jabs, and pokes" forum if you must..
  24. Maybe we can convince REDRIDER from Fond du lac, WI to run out there... And then take another shot at his Alice Burger (San Francisco) to Moon Burger (Moonshine, IL) in 48 hours on the way back. I'll send him a PM, Scooter Bob
