    Many times you can see where they cut the pavement to put in the loop. I try to stop just inside the loop next to one edge. Here in Wisconsin, the law is... If you believe the light is vehicle actuated, and you have waited at least 45 seconds, and it is safe to do so, you can proceed with caution.

    If you didn't goole map it yet, it's about 20 miles south of Bemidji, camping available Friday through Sunday, at least. Elk Mound, Karen and I were in your look out tower the last Friday of July! See Bubber's previous posts in this thread about the evening activities. Karen and I will be staying closer to Fargo, near Rollag, on Friday night, and attending the Steam and Gas engine show at Rollag on Saturday. We will be at the PIP at Gary's on Saturday night.

    Well, I'll get this started. I took this pic on the way to work this morning. Since I can't win the hottest temp, I thought maybe I could get a beer for the coldest. I'm actually a little disappointed, the sun pushed the temp up 6 degrees from what we had at home. Who's next?, Scooter Bob

    Ya, the steakhouse was furthest from my mind as we were last leg towards home after 8 days on the road. I saw the sign, checked mirrors real quick, got on the brakes pretty hard, took the left into the parking lot, and stopped. Karen's all worried, and says "what's the matter?":confused24: Then she looked over her shoulder and said never mind. Works for me. What's next Joe??

    There's an App called tapatalk for viewing on smartphones. Costs a few bucks, but cleans up the screen just for viewing topics and threads easily. Maybe they have one for the Ipad! Later, Scooter Bob

    Ya, and it wasn't an easy find. Most every place in WI like that is called a supper club. And we've been on so many back roads since leaving Chetek Friday morning that we didn't see many of those either. the next target is... A pic of you and your bike and a playground slide. Not one of those fancy plastic curly types, but an old fashioned steel one. And no, you don't have to ride your bike up it. by Scooter Bob

    Tons of Venture sightings on this trip as well, and we barely left WI, and only for a day. Sat, July 23... Blue and Black 2nd Gen on a trailer I94 EB by Lyndon Station Blue and Blue 2nd Gen on I94 near Tomah riding with a Beemer Sunday, July 24... 1st gen (I think) in a garage Highway J just North of Menomonie. Blond MKI on highway 35 by Interstate Park near St Croix Falls going South on WI35. White TD a few miles North of St Croix Falls going South on WI35 . Red 2nd gen several miles North of St Croix Falls going South on WI35 Monday, July 25... Midnight 2nd gen at a factory in Webster Tuesday, July 26... Blue and Black 2nd gen pulling small tan trailer in Bayfield, WI Blue and Black 2nd gen at an INN on south edge of Bayfield, WI (may have lost trailer?) Anybody here?
