Remember outside inside outside path of travel, turn your head and look where you want to go not just in front of tire. Slow before curve, watch for blind corners with rocks, leaves, or sand in the curve. If you want to look around stop then look at the scenery. Have lots of FUN!!!! Use counter steering in short sharp curves. tew47

GREAT PLACE TO RIDE. Stayed there a couple of times. Once the wind was blowing so hard the tent almost blew over with us in it. Ride from Mena all the way into Oka. and back. The people in Mena are real friendly to motorcycles. tew47

Has anyone had a joint replacement of the finger? I didn't know about them until today. Doc told me that was the best option for the middle finger middle joint on my right hand. Hurt it fifty years ago playing football. My whole right hand is full of Arthritis. Hope I can still use my front brake after the surgery. tew47

The Love of God and a wonderful wife, thats all I need and have. Someone ripped off my debit card and took all of our money, so Christmas presents are nill. Good news is we will get all out money back about New Years. So until then we won't be doing very much. Had two cyst removed from my right foot and can't ride for a couple of weeks. Had a great Christmas dinner with the family last nite. And I would like to pray for the person that took all our money. God Bless everyone on VentureRider, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Hippo Hands, warm chaps, snow plow for bike& snow tires.......
TEW47 replied to a topic in Riding Gear
I think you are talking about the leather hippo hands. A friend had a pair 30 yrs ago a they were nice and warm. They were lined with thick sheeps wool, maybe one inch thick. tew47
