    Installed the hose resistors, and it did not help, sucked the mercury out in about 30 seconds. Emailed Motion Pro , they said I a broken ring or a burnt valve. Local shop does not have any idea until a compression test and leakdown test is done. What do youall think? I guess that what I get for bad mouthing HDs so much. Gene Weir

    What is a restrictor and where is it? It was at idle when it sucked out the mercury. Will try to run commpression test and leak down test maybe tomorrow. Gene Weir

    I have been using Motion Pro carb stick for several years and had no trouble syncing the carbs. The last two times I ha ve tried to sync the carbs I could not even get close. Today the mercury was sucked up into the carbs twice at idle. Have sprayed the carb boots with WD40 and it didn't make any difference in idle. Anyone have andy ideas. Also I replace all sparkplugs.     Rode 150 miles Saturday and driving light is holding tight and the epoxy glue is is clear so you don't know its there. Seems tighter than the left side. Gene Weir:thumbsup2:

    Took lamp out and there was nothing to tightenup.So far the epoxe glue is holding it in place. Have a 150mile ride Sat.,I will know then if it worked.

    The driving light on the right side is very lose and I cannot tighen it up. Feel like the threads are stripped. Any suggestions on how to fix the problem beside geting a new one. 1997 RSTD. Hate the driving light design. Gene Weir

    A number of years ago I met my wife for lunch and when we came out it was raining. I had to park right next to a six lane blvd. next to a telephone pole aabout ten feet from the road. I was in a hurry to put my rainsuite on and got one leg in and was tring to put the other leg in when I lost my balance and fell to the ground. As was my luck the traffice light was red, and about one hundred people were stopped. I looked up and people were laughing. Needless to say I jumped up and didn't look at any of them. Leaned against telephone pole and got the other leg in,got on my bike and left. That was embarrassing! Gene Weir:rotf:
