There are at least two colors of the Midnight Venture, my 02 is a black onyx without metal flakes and a 2007 is heavy with metal. But they are both beautiful.

Funny you mention this, just yesterday my wife and I were talking about our grandchildren and I mentioned you don't here about surgery for these anymore. Guess I was wrong. I had it done but have no memory of it.

Many pluses on the Carbon One lift adapter. Don't remember what it cost years ago but it works for tires, rear end service, oil change, and detail cleanup plus much more. I never ratchet mine down since on level floor it never moves. If you remove both tires, then I block the front first and remove the rear. Then remove the front. I use my Sears bike lift I purchased in 2006 for $69.00. And I have my own bike tire changer that makes all much easier.

Where is the cassette player???

I picked up my bike from the dealer this morning between rain showers. They did a great job and it runs very good.

My last pair is three years now and just as good of quality as the other four pair I have.

Amen on Red Wing. Been wearing them since the sixties.

I typically spray it all over everything and then cuss and then wipe up the mess .

I am at the Motel 6 at West Cleveland. Arriving on 5/31.

Finally got the call from dealer that bike is ready. Pick up on Wed. (my day off). Expect thunder showers through rest of week.

Looking to hook up for the ride. Will be leaving Charlotte, NC whenever it works out.

I would like to but bike is in shop and don't know when to expect it. I will let you know when I find out. Bob, I talked to the shop and told them to complete what is already in progress and I would bring it back next week. Let me know your plans.

Late August is iffy in Alaska from my experience in Fairbanks.

I have used Dyna Beads for years and they come in 2 oz. bags with a filler bottle that feeds through the valve core. A few weeks ago I thought I was ordering Dyna Beads on Ebay, that is what I googled. To my surprise they were E Z Beads. Had to use them since I had nothing else. Bottom line is they work just as good. Never had a balance issue using ceramic beads.

Just three weeks ago I replaced front and rear tires and as always greased the rear pins and checked for wear on the drive gears. I always change the final oil every two oil changes. This video is a great reminder to be thorough when maintaining our bikes.
