  1. 47+ years and there is no figuring it out! :no-no-no::no-no-no:
  2. Round Up works.
  3. Some VRs are in it just for the cheap thrills.
  4. Pictures would be really nice so we that don't have a 3rd Gen could understand.
  5. I use red tacky hi temp grease around my farm and it is a quality lubricant. I don't use Lucas but most all lubricant companys produce it. In heavy earth moving equipment it is superior. That being said, this spring I put new tires on my 2nd gen and found I misplaced my Honda moly or used it up. I resorted to a quick fix and put the red sticky stuff in place of moly. Puc will know long before I will how it has performed, but I have confidence in it.
  6. My only comment to this thread is...KEEP THE RPM OVER 3000 IN EACH SHIFT OF GEAR. If you do this the machine responds if well maintained. I never use 5th under 65mph.
  7. Wait to you hit 72 like me. If you keep hydrated as you should, then every hour you need to stop.
  8. It is much better news than I had fear of. God Bless Annie and heal fast.
  9. :amen::amen::amen::amen::amen::amen::amen::amen::amen:
  10. That Cowpuc can be a very awesome guy.
  11. That speaks highly of Honda in my book. Great customer satisfaction is paramount. :happy65:
  12. Are they 4.5 inch lenses. If so there are many out there. I got mine from Larsen Lights. They have the seven LEDs with six in a circle around the center one and they really light the road. Get the traphazoydal spot.
  13. My son-in-law spends much more than that for his racing bicycles.
  14. Looking for a replacement water pump cover. If anyone has one I would be interested. Must be a 2nd gen cover.
  15. Thanks Eileen for the memories. Really enjoyed myself and made lots of friends.
  16. I have the same issue ever since the bike was new in 02. Used to think it was the K&N filters that need cleaning and oiling but put that notion out of my mind. I keep my oil level at 1/2 site glass but still have the issue. Good point is that it won't rust!
  17. I have never heard of them, but I have had BUBs on since new and never saw a need for a change.
  18. Now that it is polished keep carnuba wax on it to keep it looking great. I did the passenger floor boards on my 02 RSMV fifteen years ago and they still look like chrome.
  19. Good for you and the Lord looking after you.
  20. Heck back in the fifties and sixties all the British, German, American and others leaked. The split crankcase on the Brits were famous for marking territory. I had a 62 Duo Glide (former police motor) with the panhead engine and it was one of the best rides I had and it leaked very little.
  21. Thanks Dave, I needed that. By the way I found a real shyster and said he'd take my case for a $grand. They aren't that expensive new, so you are off the hook...for now.
  22. Hope you have above average teeth and gums. That $**t can pull them out quicker than Doc Holiday.
  23. I have totally remodelled one of our bedrooms (guest) and spent a great deal of money on the improvements. Complete paint from ceiling to floor, removed carpet and levelled floors, installed maple hardwood like rest of house, and completed quarter round for the finish. My wife bought a new "antique brass finished head and footboard, along with new box spring and pillow top mattress. Now all should be right with the world...until UPS shows up with a package for the Mrs. Parks. "Honey, I have something for you":bighug:, and she says it is the new light and fan for the bedroom , but you said you didn't want a fan in the room:doh:. Well the short story is that I began the project this morning. Wish I slept in. Open and immediately ascertain that parts are missing in the screws and bolts category. Oh boy a trip to Home Depot (since I hate waiting for parts . Get back with my booty and start the process. Read completely through the manual and proceeded and actually everything went together well. Time to hang the fan on the socket I installed and that went great so I proceeded. Wired all up and installed fan blades looking forward to other projects. Need only to slide cover dome up to ceiling and tighten. Can't get to screws to remove to be able to tighten cover:no-no-no:. Frustrated I go back to manual to study:detective: and one page after the installation procedure IT SAYS remove one cover screw from bracket and loosen the other:depressed:. Now I start to and because I have to go back to square one and remove all I have done including the wiring:crying::crying:. I am getting a very positive dislike for Chinese made products:thumbsup2:. I finished the install and went to get beer:beer:. The beer was good and the fan looks better because the beer was good.
  24. Yes I do Mr. Puc but My son (gun thief that he is) has it and the BB gun at his house. He also has my S&W two pin 19-2 6" shooter. Can't remember what else, oh yeah my father's Colt Police Positive (nickel plated) 4" 38, and my PPK .380. What can I say...he will get it all anyway. Next time I get to Asheville I will get pix. But he doesn't have my matched set of Colt Government Enhanced .45s. Of course with double shoulder holster.
  25. I've got one just/almost like it. My uncle gave it to me in 1960. Don't know if goes poof anymore. You may have awakened the inner hunter in me. I have a a slide action bb gun also.
