  1. I heard that you are improving the technology and now have North Carolina in sight. Now this would upset my neighbors to great extent, but I, being from Nebraska, look forward to a good white wash. Bring it on Fool. :snow::guitarist 2: :snow2::thumbsup2:
  2. :clap2::clap2::clap2::thumbsup2::thumbsup2::thumbsup2: :farmer:So believable I wanted to go out and fill my park lights, taillights and headlights.
  3. You do realize that taking it up in wheel size and possibly tire size you will lose a lot of "stomp" from it.
  4. I would think Western NC, would be better as I know the traffic and prices around PF to be very high. Cherokee area in NC or around Maggie Valley? Not Asheville...very pricey.
  5. I do not have the engine chemistry that many of you have but I do maintain the best I can. In 2009 I bought a Dodge pickup for a job truck with 102,000 miles on it. It had a 4.7L engine, that I had no knowledge of. I took it to my local garage for an oil change and service. Tony told me all was well other than sludge build up and he put a new pvc in it. I took it to my farm and added the required amount of Seafoam and drove it fo 3000 miles. Took it back for service and Tony asked me what I did since the engine was much cleaner. I drove it to 187,00 miles before getting broadsided.
  6. Hate to tell about the road rash I enjoyed on Cushman scooters, Honda 250/305s, and Triumph 500 and 650s. By 1966 I was a much sainer rider. Then I went into moto-cross competition, with a Maico 400. More HP than a Bonneville with only one cylinder. What can I say but I am a glutten for punishment.
  7. I didn't know that RP included the LS modifier. sorry. I have been buying the lube plus modifier. Remember way back when...you bought for LS or without, no secondary product involved. Just showing my age.
  8. Good for you, I assume it does not have limited slip differential. You road in my 96 at MD, and I am very particular of maintaining the service. Glad you are the same.
  9. Thanks puc, we were looking into RVs and I just figured out that I can drive deadhead to your house and stay there and enjoy the area. You are a great guy, thanks for the invitation. See you in the spring.
  10. I have a set in black, they will need new 3m adhesive patches. PM me.
  11. Wonderful group and what they stand for is something all people need to stand for...our children deserve a childhood without fear and abuse.
  12. I am very glad that you are done with the rhetoric. I voted early and listened to volumes of who I should vote for. I vote my conscience without concern of what you want. I hope that some day people will come together with a plan for the future of mankind. Sorry for the rant, brothers and sisters, but it is so violent with words and lies.
  13. Very nice ride. Wish I had one, but my 96 F150 4x4 with 249k on it will have to do since retirement begins in 57 days. But if anyone wanted to join me this winter rebuilding the 302 and transmission, I would be forever grateful.
  14. Now that is just plain showing off.
  15. Marcarl is dead on right, leave it as a survivor.
  16. I drove a beetle without a clutch cable through winter when in college. No choice since I couldn't afford a fix.
  17. Just curious, after you clean the little buggers, how do you cook them? I like smoked meat but my smoker would need fifty at least. Keep me in mind!
  18. I use Seafoam but never thought of it as a carb cleaner. I will put it in during seasonal riding and heavy dose it for delayed use and run the bike until it is in the carbs, close the petcock and walk away.
  19. I second that. Now that that's settled, when is MD this year (next year)?
  20. If you can find it, the Tour Deluxe bars will fill the bill. Put a set on my 02 in 2008 and they are perfect. Got mine free since a friend needed other bars for his Tour Deluxe. You will need longer clutch, brake and throttle cables.
  21. Ooohhh I want one. Thanks for signing in, it is always nice to hear from you.
  22. You have my prayers and my thoughts of a good turn out.
  23. No color here in NC yet. Was in the mountains this weekend and leaves have dropped without color. Was 90 degrees a week ago where I live and we have freeze warnings tonight. Pretty much killed the fall leaves.
  24. Ben, Saddlebum, you did good. Thanks for sharing Willy and Trigger with us.
  25. There are benefits from legal pot besides the obvious. It is LEGAL therefore no drug dealers and huge pricing involved. Should cut down on some crime. I am former LEO, but if it is legal I am OK with it.
