  1. How about north of Spartanburg in Gastonia NC? Jim Parks 704-658-7323 jimmiethev@yahoo.com
  2. Certainly a lot of knowledge goes into model making. Where do you get your models from? I would like to find a "Diamond T" truck tractor circa 1970. If you have sources, let me know. Thanks.
  3. Isn't that the same stuff that eats our fairings when leaked onto them?
  4. If it were the pilot jets it should run on throttle, but it doesn't. Nothing. I will get into it later since I am very good at rebuilding them now. Thanks to all.
  5. I still have the one I bought in 1965 when drag racing in Omaha. Great tool and I have used it often.
  6. If you have read posts in the past, I have been having an issue with getting all four cylinders firing. Last summer I finally had all running well and was able to ride the Asheville meet. Not had issues since until yesterday. Took bike outside the garage and fired it up. I have Seafoam in it and it was filled with non-ethanol fuel. The bike only had the left cylinders running. Nothing on the right bank. Do I have coil issues or carb issues? The carbs have been rebuilt four times in the last two and a half years. I will pull the plugs and check for spark, but what other areas should I look at.
  7. I don't have a 3rd gen. but I have a tank bib on my 2nd gen and have no marking under it. I take it off when washing and detailing and keep it waxed so it won't mark. By the way Don, it looks awesome.
  8. Never gets any easier to deal with the loss. I miss my father after twenty years of leaving this earth. Very sorry for you and your family.
  9. Whatever happened to Sgt. Preston? Loved that show. :clap2:
  10. In the Bond derringer the 45 LC is not near the recoil as the 000 3" magnum.
  11. I still haven't been informed as to how much distance is between the hollers. In North Carolina this could be a far piece. But other places it could only be a near piece.
  12. The passing lights are easy...par 36. If you don't do the headlight replacement (like me) you wind up with a fan cooled LED that won't reflect properly with the reflector. Once my low beams were set close, the high beams searched for squirrels in the trees. The pass lights work great. I got mine from Larsen lights and they are trapezoidal spot lights. Don't get the driving light.
  13. Both our children are minimalists and have already said they want nothing except my son who wants all my tools and guns. :mo money:
  14. I have a Bond Arms 4" barreled derringer in 3" and I shoot the 000 buck in it without any issues. Therefore the size of the judge should be almost docile. I thought the judge came with optional "Magnaport".
  15. Happy you have a solution. My CB quit working six years ago and after chasing what I could I gave up and I can live without the CB.
  16. Very talented and very fast.
  17. I hope you get a bunch for that pistol. I bought a Hi-power twenty years ago and they are very well made. I bought it on impulse and it was my first and only .40 caliber. Just never got used to the feel in my hands. To me feel and balance is utmost importance all else can be adjusted. If you get a ton for your pistol let me know, I may fish mine out of storage and look for a buyer.
  18. I actually did pretty good at the Gun Club. I took my camo Remington 870 with a 26" barrel and a a modified choke. Showed up and introduced myself with my friend who invited me. Originally I thought it was trap shooting since we have done a lot of that in the past together. Before I left for Asheville he informed me that it was sporting clays therefore the barrel and choke. Never saw so many high dollar shotguns in one place before. I saw 30's models Churchills, Merkels, and modern Brownings Berretas and others. I made a decent showing for American made firearms.
  19. Why did you re-post it? Just messing whitchu. :rotfl:
  20. I have been invited to the BILTMORE Gun Club to shoot clays tomorrow. You know I kinda feel special. Think I will change my last name to Vanderbilt. Then move into my home in Asheville.
  21. VAZ you remind of a commercial with a man and his daughter and he is wearing a yellow jacket. He thinks yellow is "appealing".
  22. Sorry about your incident. I hate reading about these accidents. Thank God that he was with you. Hopefully you will have years of trouble free riding now.
  23. I pray for a great New Year for all.
  24. This is so special. That is what it is all about.:happy65:
  25. What part of retired don't you get? It also means I am broke. And with seven 1911's, six revolvers, four Ruger .22 MK's, three 9mm autos, a Desert Eagle .50, too many shotguns, four .22 rifles, two .22 magnums rifles and AK's, .45-70, 30-06, and one 25-06 Ruger #1 ; I cannot even afford to buy ammunition for them let alone chang all the springs. But I definitely like the suggestion.:whistling::happy65:
