  1. Have thought about porting your Taurus? I shoot 3" 000 buck in a 4.25" derringer, and switched to a Magna Port barrel. Huge difference.
  2. I do the same Randy, but I shoot deer.
  3. Other than being RWD, that ought to do the job. And think that when you are out with it plinking, you can put the targets on the side.
  4. So why would you want 10 gr plastic bullets???:duck::puzzled: Or you may want to throw them at your enemies! :happy65::whistling::no-no-no:
  5. I am sure that if they sell online they need ffl. But you transfer weapons between ffl dealers. Why would the selling dealer need information? He is not selling the weapon directly to puc, but transfering the weapon to the end dealer even though Scott pays for it. Sounds hokey to me.
  6. I have never had to submit paper work of any kind except to my ffl dealer. He is the one responsible.
  7. Picked up my R1 1911 this morning. Novak rear adjustable and Novak front tritium. Steve did a great job and therefore I am pleased. I supplied the sights ($60.00 ea plus tax and shipping) and Steve cut the dovetails and installed sights for $135.00. I will bench sight it and decide later whether install match grade barrel (probably will). Now if someone would tell me how to post pictures from my Iphone I would do so.
  8. Try Craigs list NC, SC, GA. My 96 F150 4x4 is rust free and very clean.
  9. Yes they are 10 rnd and adjustable sights plus a rail mount system and bull barrel. I have a red/green dot sight for it, but need to tune it.
  10. Ordered the ultimate clip loader and two Mec-Gear mags for Ruger MK III on Ebay with free shipping. Happy boy now.:dancefool:
  11. McFadden also makes a loader for Ruger called "the ultimate clip loader". Pretty slick.
  12. I looked them up and they don't work with Ruger. Cheap enough though, $23.xx plus adapters.
  13. More question: Will it work with your 100 rnd drum? Will it work with 10 rnd mags like MK III or 22/45? How about with SR 22 10 rnd mags? How much? see Condor's post Need to spend mo money.:mo money::mo money:This retirement is going to hurt me.

    ouch

Can't see myself when I had to do this...but I can visuallize well. Heal and be safe.
  15. I was just thinking that all this stress over his brother in jail, very well could have been what killed Yammer Dan. It would sure weigh heavy on me.
  16. Those moon clips are also used for shooting rimless auto cartridges in revolvers. That way the cartridge doesn't fall through the cylinder. But I am sure that Condor got it right.
  17. I have not had a Glock gun in my safe since 1999 and that was a 21 given to me by my son. Never got used to it and even with the adjustable sight it was shooting way left. Even the range officer (who was also an armorer) could not figure it out. Let my son use it as trading stock. But going forward, I shot his Gen 4 Mod. 19 at his range in Asheville and I loved it. Very accurate and easy trigger pull. But I have a love for Bersa products and last fall I bought a Bersa Thunder Pro 9 HC (17+1). Out of the box it is dead on accurate and swallows any 9mm I put in it. Nice full size weapon with 4.24" barrel. I also have a Bersa Thunder .380 Plus 13+1 that I love and a Bersa Thunder .380 7+1.
  18. What with buyer premium and sales tax, I don't think I am into this auction. Love to look at the inventory but that is it.
  19. Good post. Tells a lot about the story. Different than I remember reading in Dan's posts, but there was obviously bad blood. And there are many folks who live by the feud.
  20. Thanks Puc, I will never get that time back and at my age I can't afford time lost. But I fell in love with the pre-war Colt Police Positive and may bid on it later. I have one in nickel plating that was my father's. Sooo much neat stuff.:happy65:
  21. Thar's the same one I have had for near twenty years and is excellent.
  22. I like the 3" 000 buck for defensive round. I have a 4" Bond Arms derringer with ported barrels.
  23. Not any different than breaking a dog to the gun. Start them young and use a starter gun. They get accustomed real quick. I would do the shot when brushing or feeding or whenever.
  24. Way more than you need. Get a 22k BTU kerosene heater and a fan to blow over it. That's all I use in a large two car garage and it gets toasty.
