  1. I would think he would get credit for time served.
  2. Even over a telescope. Not nice boys. Some of you may need time-out.
  3. Way to far for me, but I hope you have a good turnout and loads of fun. The memories will be worth it.
  4. Tel my president that I support him and have his back.
  5. Now that is cool. Reminds me of a spagetti western with Lee Van Cleif shooting over his horses saddle. Now while on the rifle/revolver subject, a local dealer has a 1902 Luger .30 cal. with stock and long barrel called a carbine. Absolutely gorgeous by the pics. The listing price is $13,999.00. I think I may buy it...not.
  6. I don't buy lottery tickets. And if I did I wouldn't win.:no-no-no:
  7. Wow, Puc I missed this thread. You know I am with you, brother. God Bless Israel.
  8. I have a test to perform and this is where I am going to post results. I removed a 36X24 plate glass mirror while remodeling a bathroom. There is no frame whatsoever (who came up with this word), anyway I am going to break it and picture it here with Puc's help. You can start the seven year count as soon as I post. Let the "bad luck" soon begin. Won't be long!
  9. And a hearty GOOD MORNING TO YOU, Mr. Puc. Have a glorius day.
  10. Really nice piece. Is that still a Single Six or a different model? I carried a single six sooo many years ago while riding horses and loved it. Never had an issue. Really like the holster rig too. I was all Paladin with blued gun, black grips and black rig. Yeehaw!
  11. That is a heavy .22 magnum, getting close to .45 weight. Ok for range shooting but like my .45s, not comfortable for carry. But a very interesting gun to say the least.
  12. Just shut up, Puc. I don't need reminding of things I forgot, again and again. I would send pics to you but I dumped the cartridges into a 2 lb. bucket since they came loose. And I know you are familiar with the Remington Thunderbolt. Be safe my friend.
  13. I only reloaded shotshells and mostly 12 ga. I would shoot 8-10 k per year. Target only. Now I can buy about anything (if you watch for it) very cheap. The equipment isn't cheap and then the casings, powder and load. I won't do it again but when I did I was young with time on my hands since I could get by with 5-6 hours sleep.
  14. Now come on Puc, you know I can't get any pictures to stick to posts on VR. I believe you are out to get me. Think I will print a dossier to show you colluded with Fool to send snow to North Carolina.
  15. Got my Gander Mountain care package today, WOOHOO. 2000 of Remington's cheapest .22 LR. Life is great.
  16. Yes Kel-Tec is considered a cheap firearm and not worth buying. The PMR30 gets the same negativity as all the other models. There isn't much to choose from other than belly guns. My dealer, Hyatt Guns, won't stock Kel-Tec. That says something about their quality to me.
  17. Not a lot of semi auto pistols available, and many of what are available are not worth owning. Now the Henry rifle offers a solid value to the lever action and they offer a pump action also in .22 mag. My rifle is a Marlin bolt action set up for night hunting. It is very adequate for the job. I have a neighbor who has over $7000.00 in his .223 rifle with everything including suppressor. Just not my cup of tea.
  18. Sure didn't surprise me any. I have seen what it will do to a coyote through a rifle barrel. Now I don't shoot hollow points at game/prdator but I use soft points and they leave a large wound cavity. I routinely carry a Ruger SR22 with soft points and 10 rnd mag. and I feel very safe and secure. And at close range it will do the job without question. I am in the hunt for a .22 mag. pistol though.
  19. That's why I moved up to the .22magnum. Great coyote bullet.
  20. :clap2::clap2: Keep getting better. Don't strain yourself. there is always summer time for snow.
  21. The local huge firearm dealer in our area (Hyatt Guns) listed an early Tula Armory SKS Black Bayonet. Now I have owned an SKS in the past and they are not IMHO accurate out very far. This is a sniper rifle by what I can decipher. Has a 10 round 7.62x39 internal magazine (read stripper clip), a 1000 meter elevation rear sight, and a black folding bayonet. All for the low price of $1.00 per meter of elevation sight. I am sure some would like this for a collection, but I'll keep my AK 47 that shoots straight, but not 1000 meters. Still trying to figure out the bayonet. Maybe Fool would be interested since he has a bunch of ammo for it.
  22. Very joyed that you are back among us. Now send some snow out just for fun.
  23. Send it to me and I will take care of it. I will take it out back and see how many .22 bullets will hit it before it is dust, ala Cowpuc listening to the crash.
  24. That's a lot of cylinders, Wow.
  25. North Carolina is much the same as Ohio. I bought my 1980 XS1100 Special from a person in Michigan I believe. Trailered it back home and applied for title change. Had to allow DMV to check it out with VIN and equipment. DMV is part of the State Troopers so everything looks about the same.
