  1. I had no idea about all the death and storms you went through. Very sorry to hear it all. But you know that you are on my permanent prayer list. I hope your trip to MD relaxes you and Tippy. I will send you a pm soon.
  2. Remove the da** rollbar. I have on everything that had one, and it makes great iron for other projects.
  3. You nailed it Puc...very long winded. Love you bro.
  4. That was a good show Puc. Reminds me of my youth. Should have listened more to my uncle, after I shot myself in the foot at 10 yo with a .22 short.
  5. Just wonderin' what ya gonna build witdat? RC aiplnes don't need dat...I think.
  6. Congratulations your Honorable Mayor.
  7. Grand Canyon. Says it all. Sunrise or sunset the colors are beyond awesome.
  8. Hey Puc, I shot a CZ sp-01 today at the range and it is a very nice weapon. So much like my Bersa Thunder 9 HC. Amazing how these smaller countries can make awesome shooters.
  9. Tough to control fires when that is all going on. Sorry. But even here they don't adhere to the burning ban. Last weekend I called:farmer: the fire marshall because some nimwit decided to burn tree branches. When I came back down the road the fire was out and the tanker truck was just leaving. Hope they got a summons.
  10. OK how is the fire going. Hope the air quality has improved. I am hopeful it will be over soon. Here in NC we have fires and the smoke could come from 100 miles away. Right now we are in a tinder box and outdoor fire is banned. Haven't seen rain for a month and 90 degree temps.
  11. I agree and support your thought process. I don't think dad is going to come down. Nothing political or demeaning...just history.
  12. Humans left on their own are savage and barbaric. A quick look around the world today and the last 5,000 years will proove this. If it wasn't for man's making laws and enforcing them, what control would there be. Even then there are ruthless people who would use the law against the population. Gengis Kahn, Idi Amin, Joseph Stalin, Adolph Hitler, ISIS, Taliban...the list is endless. I am sure my parents worried for the future of there family and I worry the same. No morals.
  13. You would hope so, but if the fire came they were leaving in a hurry. The natives had a relationship with the earth but so do many modern people. We can only try our best to survive catastrophe. The midwest storms and tornadoes point this out. Run, hide or head for the caves.
  14. Forest fires have been around since the last Ice age at least. The original bipod man just had to run, hide or head to the cave for safety. All fires will eventually burn out or rain will drown it. The difference is that humans are smart (?) and feel they can control nature. My only has hope of lessening the outcome.
  15. Yes they are cleaning up AFTER the fires. If they had harvested the sick and deseased trees before the fires there would be much less tinder to ignite. Just my opinion and .
  16. Wish I could be there.
  17. Look at the logic of California officials that have prohibited the removal of tree debris because it is natural. the result in some opinions is the huge wild fires that plague the state.
  18. Toyota makes amazing vehicals. The company I retired from had a large fleet of pickups and larger vehicals including eighteen wheelers. The Toyota Tundras always brought twice the price of everything else when it came to selling. Usually they had 300,000 + on the odo. The last couple years saw the company going to some Ram trucks for the first time. I really liked them, for what they were and the V6 was very impressive with the 8 speed tranny. Have no idea how they turned out since I am long gone now.
  19. :fingers-crossed-emo:fingers-crossed-emo:fingers-crossed-emo:fingers-crossed-emo:fingers-crossed-emo Good Luck!
  20. My post said nice area. I wasn't talking about the military part. I really like Alberta. Very beautiful country.
  21. Sorry Blue Sky I didn't tell you I had a tire changer for MC. My bad. It works so easy I wished I came up with the engineering. Been changing my own tires since 2000.
  22. I have only been as far north in Alberta as Fort McMurray. Very nice area.
  23. No lead to the article. Is the Canadian government restricting you internet?
  24. No on the hard toe, but I have a sequined fanny pack that goes perfectly with my short shorts and tank top. I think I am making myself sick.
  25. So far I am having no luck finding a heat shield for my Mossber 500 in .410. Thinking of going to a sheet metal shop to perforate and roll one for me. Then I would have to figure out the hardware to attach it. And then add rails per Puc's instrutions. Thanks Scott, good idea.
