    wanted to thank you folks for being there for me, our trip is complete and the bike did fantastic on its first trip. the only problem i had was some inconsistent buttons on the radio and no audio feed from the CB, but it seems to work....Beautiful countryside.

    My luck, I am looking at a smaller needle valve knob that has a set screw in it for replacement..just have to find it, it is around here somewhere.

    Going up to Eureka Springs Thursday -Sunday (24th -27th) on a bike I just rebuilt. (it is multi-colored) I will be crossing at Greenville Ms.. What i am wondering is if there is anyone along the way that would be willing to help should i run into problems....the bike is fine right now but it hasn't been run in 4-5 years.. Anyway, that is my question. The trip is is my Churches Youth Group retreat. I will be busy with them and wont have time for "Meet-n-Greets" Sorry. but I do come into Arkansas occasionally so maybe next time.

    Hey Boomer.........Will it fix a loose nut between the Handlebars and the seat??.........If'n it will, I'm going to get some!! Side note: someone mentioned ABS not liking loctite.............DO NOT spill brake fluid on it either.......if you do, get it off fast.

    Yep, it will....Search "Jason Mod" for another option, I ran that for a couple of years. cheap and simple.

    Looks good, I have already cut that piece that mounts the player off. the CDI box fits in there better with it off.

    Does anyone have an identification diagram for the wires going to the cassette deck? I want to eliminate the one on the 88 but the radio wont play without it. Any ideas. seems like i have seen this in the past but i cant find it.

    I would Imagine that there are some of every kind here. My $0.02 worth. Some years ago (I have been here a while)(you get my check yet Don?) I posted a Muslim Joke (I'm a Southern Baptist, we don't dance...) I thought it was funny. A Muslim member in Canada didn't (think it was funny) we got into a heated discussion and the thread was deleted!!! Long story short, we discussed it in private messages like two adults and in the end i think have a mutual respect for each other now. I harbor no ill-will toward him anyway. even though we don't agree theologically, I think we agree there is room here for both of us. I have enjoyed a lot of his posts. Most of us are not Atheist, Baptist, pentecostal...etc. But; some of us are. A lot of us are not republican, democrat, tea partier or independent, ... some don't vote at all and some don't even live in the Good 'Ol U.S Of A. some are Black, Yellow, White, Olive...Shoot, some are even red skinned. Some don't care if you love Obama or Sarah.........or Tony Blair for that matter. You don't have to pray for me; but i wish you would. I would Pray for you. It would be an honor. I can't save you, in my opinion, only Jesus can do that(John 14:6). That may not be your Opinion, I respect that. I wont "make" you take Him if you don't try to "make" me leave Him. The best I can do is ask you to forgive me if i offend you (i probably will if i open my mouth) and I promise to return in like kind............ In any event, I think that is the best any of us can do "forgive and forget" That has religious undertones but is not inherently religious...........I think all of us can do that without getting kicked out of whatever group we belong to. Again,...my post is..."much ado(sp) about nuthing.

    Check it out. http://www.1jesussaves.com I am currently working on all the horses in my stable. The 83 is about to get trimmed down a little and treated to a Flat Black paint job. the 88 is about to be finished (I hope) I am so ready to ride it. I have added a new little filly, a 2008 XV250. lots of fun to ride; but it just aint a Venture. it does get 65-70 MPG.

    Good Dog?...HECK YEA MAN!! My mother came home one day a couple of years ago to find her front door kicked open. Whoever did it found an angry Rottweiler inside.........that is as far as they went. nothing disturbed in the house! My lap dog sleeps with me, nothing moves on the yard that I don't know about. Yep, yours is a keeper. no question about it.

Ed is a vietnam Vet, He did an excelent job with the interview. It is a pretty good description of who the PGR is.
