OKAY...........Mt wife still is faithfull to make it known that i don't spend enough "Quality time" with her. So i thought that the perfect gift would have been to give her just exactly what she wanted....time. I gave her a "cupon" redeemable at the drop of a hat for 48 hours alone in any reasonable location. With-in about a 400 - 500 mile radius.................. Well I'll just say it didn't fly, and I no longer feel guilty about being gone, even though those times are still few and far between......... Geezzzzzzzzzz...............What does it take to please yall???

With the question being asked about the wiring, I'm wondering how much trouble it would be to mobify the main charging wire to the battery? And if anything feeds off of the original wire, could it be cut loose at the Rectifier and backfed from the battery to avoid getting too deep into the wiring harness. These are just questions that came up in my mind. and not having a 2nd. Gen i can't go look at mine. Might be a consideration for y'all though. I'm thinking too that the stator wires could possibly be cut as shout as possible and replaced with heavier gauge wire to aleviate(sp) resistance in the system. This may give a slight increase in available amperage, maybe not enough to fool with, it's just a thought. But, I'm thinking that if the second gen charging system is as suckey as the first gen, it might be worth looking at. Whit these thoughts in mind, I know that mine will be looked at soon...

I looked like nance56's icon when i first read don's post.......................good thing it didn't stick like that. Don, We will all mess up at times. Even me as hard as that is to believe. But this great group of hard core bikers usually do a pretty good job of working it out. That's what impresses me..............

boomer, the CHEESE KAKE has been taken care of and it was goo.........uh..........spoiled so i threw it out, yea, that's the ticket, i threw it out. Thanks for explainin this about the locked threads. I think that's a really good idea. I do appologise if my question caused any hard feelings. It wasn't my intention at all to get a debate started. cmiles3; thanks for the info, guess i should look around on here a little more. Don, don't make any changes on my behalf. I know i'm important and all; but i can look over those posts with the greatest of ease..............Maybe if they could have a "password protected" note or something so we could identify them before trying to openin them would be nice instead of trying to hide them.

I don't quite see $37500.00 there. I'm with BlackOwl on this one. The rear looks like some variation of a Servicar rear-end.

And they are excelent for hunting because the unsuspecting animal will look at the soft glow of the light. Therefore making it a much easier target.......................Or so i have been told. That would be the 150 watt GE Wolfman.. -
So, this young lady pulls up to he firehouse and reports that she is not from around here and needs gas bad. I told her where to find it and offered to accompany her to make sure she made it to the pumps. She did. Now the fun begins. I pull up next to her all cool and all and just with the greatest of ease, I dumped it on the right side. I picked it up and reached down to put the side stand down (always do this first) and, again, with the greatest of skill, I dumped i on the right side. Yes, I was red-Faced!!! Then I found out she "LIKED" Girls.................My punishment.

I know that a bad soldier joint in the Central Monitoring Unit will put out the headlight, not sure about the dash lights...... It is a pretty simple fix but time consuming.
