  1. I will make a sales pitch for you Don. I have one, and I use it every day. My coffee stays hot for at least 4 to 6 hours. I usually pour hot water in it first before my coffee. It is a fantastic product for sure. I love mine.
  2. I actually work in the Mt. Healthy City Schools Northwest of the City borders. But I appreciate you asking. I would enjoy meeting her sometime. In fact, I may have seen her at some of the school nursing seminars. Yama Mama
  3. Yes Diane, I am to be offered the H1N1 immunization because of my job at least when it is available. And if people start paying attention to better health practices, at least as far as hand washing and use of hand sanitizers it will be a good thing to practice even if it is not flu season.
  4. Obviously everyone has different butts and different comfort zones. I think Ron and I have ridden for so many years we no longer have feeling down there. We have the stock seat on our 99 RSV and just recently added a sheepskin. We rode 1200 miles in 2 days to Sturgis, and we really had no complaints other than being tired and that was mainly from the crosswinds. I hope you find the comfort seat for your self. 5. That certainly was a very nice way to honor someone who has passed away. We saw a similar tribute to someone when we were up on a mountain looking at Mt. Rushmore this summer. Thank you for sharing that with us. Yama Mama
  6. Be sure and bring back photos to share with us. Just think of the beautiful fall colors you will see. Have a safe ride. Yama Mama
  7. There is a definite resemblance; however I think Danny was better looking. One of my favorite old movies at Christmas is White Christmas, with Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye. He was a wonderful performer. Yama Mama
  8. I too always get the Flu shot each year, and I am rarely ill. I think because I work with children I have built up an immunity. However, I also need to say the importance of good hand washing and using hand sanitizers. The flu has hit our district. We have had staff members out especially in one school. I also do think there is a lot of media hype too. I of course, am right in the middle of it all, so I guess time will tell. We did have two siblings die recently from Dearborn County, Indiana of H1N1, they were in their early 20's, a brother and sister. Yama Mama
  9. Yes there are two separate immunizations given. I am getting the regular Flu shot in October, and then we are supposed to be offered the H1N1 shot too. Yama Mama
  10. I am a nurse in a school district in Cincinnati. We are just now starting with cases of the flu. Even our district nurse has had it. I just wondered how many of you had had a case yourself, or in your own family. They are not testing here to prove it is the H1N1 flu because the test is so costly. Yama Mama:223:
  11. Thank you for letting us know about this horrible accident. I am so sorry to hear about it. Yama Mama
  12. We recently rode our 99RSV to Sturgis from Cincinnati, Ohio. We rode all the way on the bike with out the use of even a motorcycle trailer. We had no complaints really. The bike performed perfectly. But if we were to ride that far again, 3600 miles, we probably would use a trailer, simply for the avoidance of strong winds, cross winds in the prairie states and the bad weather that can pick up in a flash of an eye. Like I said, we really had no problems with the bike. The cross winds were rough, but like I said we endured it. I guess it depends on how long of a time you have for your trip. We were gone for 8 days. And I really would not look down on someone who does trailer their bike, because I know that we did it the other way too.
  13. tanned area near her left shoulder blade.(How was that for a save folks!) Although it was only a temporary tat, Yama Mama was complaining about how much it hurt. Because of all the suds she had consumed prior to it, she did not realize it was just a temporary tat. And so she kept having more of those suds to counteract the pain now. Actually I think she had a hangover. Just then Ruffy gets a call on his cell, Wow it was............................
  14. We went to the concert. We were probably one hundred feet away from Willy. He looked exactly like he always has. Of course, like all of us he has gotten older. He was not able to sing like he used too unfortunately. I did still enjoy seeing him in person. He sang all of his best known songs. My favorite is Crazy and On the Road Again. There was a huge crowd. We go to the FallFest in Lawrenceburg every year. In the past we have seen Travis Tritt, Tanya Tucker, Sarah Evans, and my all time favorite performance was Hank Williams, Jr. The reason the town can get these big country singers is because there is the Hollywood casino right there. :smile11:Yama Mama
  15. Looks good Ruffy. Yama Mama:smile5:
  16. I am going to a Willie Nelson concert tonight in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. It is raining and miserable, but this might be my only chance to see him in person, so I am going. I guess I am "CRAZY"! Yama Mama
  17. Yes we need photos. I am sure it is smooth. We are happy for you. Yama Mama:smile5:
  18. Dan that was funny! Not at all helpful, but funny. Yama Mama:crackup:
  19. Enjoy being a Grandpa, Wes. You are going to have so much fun. Yama Mama:hurts:
  20. a mirror and a good strong drink! What do you suppose the tattoo means? As we get the mirror for Ruffy so he can look at his new tat, Massey goes to get him a drink. I heard him order a double of something strong. Ruffy takes a sip of his drink first, then slowly looks into the mirror. Ruffy takes another bigger gulp of his double drink and says..........................................
  21. Thank you Don for letting us know the update. We will keep our prayers coming and hope you get good news in November. God Bless you and your family. Yama Mama
