Brad I am happy for you. You will have fun fixing up that Harley. And every time you ride it you will always remember your friend who owned it. Not many of us have a true friend like that in life. It is wonderful. I love nostalgia. Besides, like I have told you before, you have got to be one of the nicest people I have ever met, so you deserve it. Yama Mama:ice_awesome-vi46644

Moped and I rode to Youngstown, Ohio once when it was 40 in the morning. It seemed as though the only body parts that were hard to keep warm were are fingers. We had a fleece cover over our mouths. At that time we did not have chaps, so our thighs got cold. But of course, the temp keep going up as we traveled on our way there, so we were just fine. I know how people stare at us when we have our cold weather gear on, I think they are just jealous. Don't you? Yama Mama

Yama Mama is ready to ride too, if she could only remember where they are headed, and why. She heard Dragonslayer say something about Biketoberfest. All she knows is they are heading down 1-24 toward Chattanooga. The weather is good, cool enough to wear a leather jacket, but it is sunny. Aussie Annie, Ruffy, Dragonslayer, and Massey130 are riding side by side down the highway. Of course Yama Mama is not riding her own bike so she is riding with her first husband Moped. He is really confused because he was not in this story before. However, he has always wanted to go to the Biketoberfest, so he decided to meet up with the group. So off we go, riding down the highway waiting to see what new adventure we will find. Just then we see a State Trooper on a motorcycle pulling up along side of us. He is motioning for us to pull over in that rest area a head, What the heck could he want?

Cincinnati has only gotten down into the 40's so far this Fall. At what point do you say, no I think it is too cold to ride? We are out there riding still, do not intend to park the bike for a while. However, I do notice fewer bikers out already. I think riding in the Fall is probably one of the prettiest seasons to ride. We are planning on going to Elizabethtown, KY next weekend, and go on over to Bardstown to tour some bourbon distilleries. I hope there are samples. Keep warm. Yama Mama

Ruffy who is still waiting to head home to Florida, and wants to know if he can ride with us all. He says his roses have healed up pretty good, but we may have to stop more often to give his roses a rest. Yama Mama is still suffering from amnesia and hopes that the trip will help her remember how she got into this perdicament. Footsierider will be riding with us. All the VR riders are getting their tanks filled up, and their bikes too when all of a sudden............................

Oh Riders, remember I think I have amnesia. Sooooooooooo, I do not remember where we are now. So if someone could fill me in where we are starting from then maybe we could start on our way to the Biketoberfest in Daytona. After we get there then let's head to the HUB.. How is that for a plan? So let me know where we are now. is it????????????

Ok, Ok, Ok, Yama Mama originally was headed for the Biketoberfest in Daytona, but someone in the story made it pretty clear there are no twisties in Florida, except for the size 18 woman trying to get into her old size 12 bikini, the roads are pretty straight. So I am agreeable to head for somewhere more interesting. Arkansas and the Hub could be it. So let's go VR riders we are heading for the HUB to see what adVentures we can get into. Start your engines, and let's go. Aussie Annie is going to lead the way. And do not forget to bring the............................

I think this whole electrical story could spark up some real controversial issues. It is nice that Jeff wired us all the way from Afghanistan to see watts going on here at mini's place. Any way mini muffin and Riderduke will have to meter that 12 pack when Jeff gets home safely. I know that was really corny, but I could not help my self. Thanks David for helping out our Mini. I would think so too, if you would like to join us, you can count with us. It will be a bit of time before we hit it. But it will happen. Maybe we could have a big celebration. Yama Mama:smile5:

My friend Ruffy is correct on his statement that silver is the fastest. The reason it does not show the dirt is because it is sooooooooooo fast the road dirt is unable to actually stick to it. Thank you for you kind attention! Yama Mama

Yes Foster Brooks was an really funny guy. Of course, with Dean Martin it was just even funnier. Wow those were such wonderful days for entertainment. Sad to think it is all gone now. I think I recall Danny Kaye worked with the UNICEF charity. I remember when I was in elementary school giving pennies UNICEF. Yama Mama

You mean we are on a road trip? I had totally forgotten. Yes, folks as Annie looked at Yama Mama she was painfully aware that Yama Mama has amnesia. How could this have happened? Maybe it was the grueling painful experience of getting the temporary tattoo. Who knows what could have caused this horrible thing to happen. Annie say Oh well, let's get riding. I here there is a Meet and Eat this weekend in Florida. That way we can ride with Ruffy and head home with him and still go to the Meet and Eat. Yama Mama looks at Annie with a expressionless face and says...............................

Glad you are back. Sorry to hear you were ill with the flu. I know that is no fun to have to deal with. Heal up so you can cause trouble soon. Yama Mama:smile11: -

Diane that sounds like such a wonderful trip. I certainly hope you enjoy your preparation for retirement. Ron is already retired. I guess I will have to work for a while longer. I wish I could work part time, it would be so much more easy to deal with. I know you will post photos when you return. Ride safe and enjoy every mile of your ride. Yama Mama:ice_awesome-vi46644

It has been going down into the low 50's at night. Good sleeping weather though. The temps go up to the low 70's during the day. But Froggie you know you are going to have "Indian Summer" yet. It can be in the 80's again. Let's hold hands and sing Come By Ya. It will happen, I tell ya, it will happen. But just in case have your leathers handy. Yama Mama
