  6. Today Moped and I went to a festival in Shandon, Ohio. There was a tractor, car, and bike show! I will post some of the car photos in another thread soon. However the interesting story here, is the bike that one. I unfortunately could not take a photo of it, because my camera battery died right at that moment. The winner was a 1988 Venture Royale. It was in perfect condition too. It was a pearl white two tone color scheme. Really looked nice. At the time the winner was announced, we were talking to a guy who was selling his 02 Indian motorcycle. His friend had a homemade chopper in the contest too. He received a plaque, but the guy with the Venture won a big trophy. I do not think they were very happy that the Venture won. It was a really nice one too. Yama Mama

  18. it sure is hot outside, and those nice cold beers are really hitting the spot. Just then Sleephawk hears someone's cell phone ringing. He tells Beer 30 "why don't you answer your phone?" Beer30 says, "that ain't my phone man, I think it is yours!" Beer grabs his glass and has another sip or two. Sleephawk realizes that it is his phone, but who could be calling him now? He opens his cell and it is ................................................. Yama Mama:beersign:

  22. Ron and I always enjoy getting lost, especially on the bike. We usually find undiscovered roads, and meet new people. In fact, when I think about it, my parents used to always tell me to get lost. Once again, parents are always right. Yama Mama
  23. One of my best friends from nursing school, told me that at the hospital she works at, they call motorcyclist's who do not wear helmets are called "DONORS"! I thought that that says it all. Yama Mama:223:
  24. Here in Ohio, we are having nothing but temps in the upper 90's and high humidity. I have so many things that I need to be doing outside, but I just do not have any energy. And even riding the bike, unless it is early in the morning, or after dark at night, is not as enjoyable as usual. I feel like I am not accomplishing much on my vacation this year. How are the rest of you, who are living in the same conditions dealing with this HEAT?http://cache.boston.com/universal/site_graphics/blogs/bigpicture/sol_10_13/sol01.jpg I was just wondering. 25. I am so happy to hear that you finally get to retire. I still believe what you told me though, that you are only 42. I just figure you started working at a very young age. Ron and I would love to make it to your party. We will try to be there for your big day.http://uppitynegronetwork.files.wordpress.com/2009/05/retirement.jpg Yama Mama
