  1. Of course, I do not know where Don got his shirt, but I bought the same shirt for Ron at Kohl's last year. Yama Mama:smile5:
  2. Forrest, don't tell me tell Dan! An engine is an engine to me. Yama Mama
  3. First of all, I was fully aware that 11,450 members are not actively involved. I was trying to be funny, which obviously I failed at. However, I have been on this site for a little while to be pretty amazed at how many folks have signed up either as a trial member or a regular member. I was merely pointing out how many have people have done one or the other. That was all I was pointing out to every one here. I know we lost some when the $12.00 fee was started which I never understood, because that is really reasonable if you compare it to other Venture sites. But the fact is we have new people signing up every day here and we are still growing. Yama Mama
  4. Did you happen to notice to date, we now have 11,450 registered members ? Can you imagine if all of them would participate and show up at Don's for MD next year? Dan you may not have room to park that Diesel rig next year! We may need to get Eileen a lot of boxes of wine! Yama Mama
  5. Thank you so much for posting that site. We live in Cincinnati and I am ashamed to say, that I have not been to the Air Force Museum since my husband and I were dating. We just had our 39th anniversary today, so I think we need to go there again real soon. Yama Mama:smile5:
  6. It looks like one of those complicated puzzles to me. All I know is you connect A to B and then combine A &B with C, I think? Good Luck Wes! Yama Mama:Laugh:
  7. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ! I hope you had a great day! Yama Mama
  8. Gary I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your Father. I know how close you were to him. It was good that you got to spend the last Father's Day with him. I will pray for you and your family. Yama Mama
  9. Ben, The other night we were at Bike Night at Quaker State, and I saw a guy sitting on his Suzuki Cavalcade. I had not seen one in years. He loved it, it has some really good features on it like an air adjustable seat and backrest. All I can say is he loved the bike, and he had had Gold Wings, Harleys and a First Gen Venture. Yama Mama
  10. I was born a city folk, but country runs through my veins. I love Bluegrass music. Especially love Earl Scruggs. We had a bluegrass festival here last year at one of our county parks. It was so much fun, I cannot wait to go back this year. They had jam sessions and everybody was standing and clapping. Yama Mama
  11. Sure sorry you got stung Patti! That could have been worse for sure. I never have been stung by a bee on the bike. Our daughter got one in her shirt while riding once, she did not get stung though. We have even rode in Cicada & Locust seasons and never got hit. However, the other day we were riding and I felt the wet on my forearm. Yeh a bird crapped on me. Luckily I had a baby wipe in our bag on Ron's back rest I could get too. Yama Mama
  12. Sounds good, I will be there around oneish! Have Fun! Yama Mama

  19. I sure hate to hear that unless that is how you like to spend the day. Yama Mama
  20. What are your Father's Day plans? We are taking it easy at home. I bought some nice strip steaks, baked potatoes, and etc. If I have the time I will make Moped a nice lemon meringue pie. HAVE A HAPPY DAY! Yama Mama
  21. Happy Birthday David! Glad to hear you are feeling better. :Happy Birthday: Yama Mama
  22. At that moment, he was not happy with his bike, and I got the impression he would like a second gen, if he found the right one. Of course, this is not for me to say, is it? Yama Mama:smile5:
  23. Joe, I understand completely what you and your family are going through. Our hospice experience was actually very positive, sense they were the only ones who made my father-in-law comfortable. He had bone cancer which was extremely painful. The Hospice staff were wonderful to him and very supportive to us during this difficult time. I will pray for your Mother and you. Yama Mama
  24. No you are not seeing things! That is the bike that Jonas bought. The guys were working on it at MD to get it ready for Jonas. I think Dano was enjoying himself. And Rose I know enjoyed the view from the passenger seat. Yama Mama:hurts:
  25. Sorry I am a bit late with these! Better late than never they say. Yama Mama
