  1. Happy Easter to everyone! Have a wonderful day. We are going to our daughter's in Indiana, and the good news is she is cooking. Yama Mama:smile11:
  2. Thank you for posting this very use full website. I wish all the states would follow South Dakota's example. Since we will be traveling to Kansas City, Missouri a lot it is just a quick hop skip and a jump (hahahaha) to S.D.. You know you do not have to go there when the Bike Week is going on, it is a nice destination just to experience the landscape and scenery. Yama Mama
  3. Yes I did see that place, however we were downtown too late last night to eat there. YAMA MAMA
  4. When is the Toga party? My Toga is at the cleaner! Ok I will be here when ever. Although if I missed I am looking foolish now. I am still in Kansas City, Missouri. Yama Mama:smile5:
  5. We made it to KC. We rode in the cage. We brought our dog Cooper with us too. We took the tour of the Harley Davidson plant where we saw them putting the power trains together. We saw them putting together the V Rod engines and the regular HD engines. I would show photos but we were not allowed to take photos. It was very interesting. It is 10 minutes away from where our daughter lives. Thank goodness for GPS's. Yama Mama
  6. I will not be able to come to Tulsa this time, but perhaps another time. I will be going there fairly often now that I am retiring. Thank you Diane, Yama Mama:smile5:
  7. I am heading out in the morning for Kansas City, Missouri to visit our daughter and Ella. It is the first time I have been there since they moved in February. Yama Mama
  8. With this possible predicament approaching, I have given it a great deal of thought, and I have decided I will have a conversation with Ron, but no one tell him my plans. Yama Mama
  9. Wow so simple and yet right to the point! Thanks Big Tom Yama Mama
  10. Here we go again off the original topic. I am expressing my feelings about not getting to ride our bike since November, simple posting, no explicit opinions given and we get on to the Man vs Woman thing. Take it for what it is worth, and leave it at that. You guys can ride when ever you want too, but us women are under the control of our men, most of the time. I should have gotten my license and my own bike but I did not, because of a lot of reasons I suppose. I admire any woman who rides her own bike. Just wish I had done so along time ago, then I would not have this problem now. That is my feelings, nothing about anything else to say. Yama Mama
  11. I need to form a Chatroom Downtime Support Group! Yama Mama:smile5:
  12. Thanks mini, but it makes me seem soooooooo cheap! wash, wax and ride thing. Hehehehehe Yama Mama:smile5:
  13. Thanks so much for these great ideas, realistic and not. However, I am not feeling too much better. I guess I just need to be patient. Which is not easy when it is warm and sunny out. Yama Mama:smile5:
  14. Gee but I feel so lame. Thanks though, Yama Mama:hurts:
  15. Thank you Patti, Thanks for the suggestions. I am just so miserable. Maybe I could hitch a ride some where. I would even consider a dirt bike, or a ATV. Anything, I just want to ride. Ok I will be fine. No I won't actually. Help. Yama Mama
  16. Guys, I need advice. I love motorcycling more than anything else. I love it, and that is it. I have not ridden since November. I am basically going insane, wanting to ride. It has been warm and wonderful. My husband has not moved the bike an inch. It is sitting in the garage saying, Peggy get on me. I am going crazy. He has not gotten the bike out to work on it. I keep talking about riding and wanting to ride, but it is still there. I love our bike. I wash it. I wax it. I love it as though it is my fourth child. It means a lot to me. What am I doing wrong? I need advice. I just want to go for a ride! Help me. Sad in Cincinnati or Yama Mama
  17. I was trying to get the 12,600 stirred up adventurer08, I guess I need to try harder. Where can you get a great shirt and pin for such a great charity. Maybe next time! Yama Mama
  18. I am so glad you posted this thread. Earl Scruggs was absolutely the greatest banjo picker of all time. I had several of his records, at the time they were CD's with a thyroid problem. Ron and I love Blue Grass and especially appreciated the talents of Mr. Scruggs. Yama Mama
  19. Good for you Kevin, Maybe post some photos of the new bike! Ride safe and enjoy every mile of the ride. Yama Mama:smile5:
  20. Ron and I always liked the looks of the Voyager, but have never ridden one. I was just thinking about this recently, that the Voyager is more rare to see than the RSV around where I live at least. Still it looks good. Yama Mama
  21. We bought ours at IKEA a few years ago, but I am not sure they still have the ones with the longer fur. Yama Mama
  22. I think ours is not really a wooly mammoth, but it is wooly. Yama Mama:smile5:
  23. Thanks Don for figuring that one out. Ok we are running out of time. Lets get those bids in for St. Judes! Yama Mama:smile11:
  24. Ruffy said it the exact way I would have. I guess that is why I am just not a great supporter of some crouch rocket riders. You know the ones who do not use good sense when riding and tend to break all the rules. Glad it worked out the way it did. Yama Mama
  25. I am so glad your luck is getting better Mamamo! I understand all that bad stuff is being swept under the rug! I wish you the best in your new endeavors. Yama Mama:smile5:
