We ride all the time in Dearborn, Ripley, Switzerland and Franklin counties. I would love to live near Batesville or Oldenberg, Indiana. But it depends if we can get rid of things we never use. We have to get rid of a bunch of junk. Yama Mama:smile5:

That was funny, thanks for posting. I had a photo once of the parade in Milwaukee for the 100 anniversary of the Harley and one of the bikes up front was a RSV. I will have to look for it. Yama Mama

Thanks Spear, Retirement is just a term. It does not mean that you never work again. Right now I have a lot of projects at home to take care of. We want to move away from Ohio and may be head to Indiana, sense our oldest daughter lives there. Do not think I am going to sit around much, but the good thing is I can do what I want to do. My stress is relieved and that alone is worth everything. I do hope you come to the US someday, I would love to me you and you lovely wife. Thanks for the congrats! Yama Mama

I will miss seeing all of the MD regular's this year. And I am thrilled Dano will be there. I do believe there will still be a crowd and I am pretty sure a good time will be had by all. Yama Mama:smile5:

Today was officially my last day of working as a nurse in a school for 22 years. I cannot say I can tell the difference yet. It is still not real to me. I know when it becomes August and I do not have to get ready to go back, I will suddenly say to my self, Hey this is going to be great! Except of course, I will never shop again. Hehehehehe! Ron and I have been walking at the county park near our home every evening. Last night, we see a guy sitting on a First Gen in the parking lot. Naturally, we go over to meet him. He is a really great guy and he had never heard of our group. So of course, we told him all about the VentureRiders and he was really interested in joining. So Ted, if you read this, it was really nice meeting you. Yama Mama

I do not think I bid on this one, it was the previous auction. Yama Mama

Lewis I want to thank you for all your hard work to this worthy cause. I know you put a lot of time and money into this. I guess I will have to be a cheerleader somewhere else now! Thank you again, Yama Mama:smile5:

Ron and I rode motorcycles when we were married 40 years ago this June. Now that the kids are grown, we renewed this love starting in 2002 when we bought our RSV! Our love of motorcycling has increased over the years. Riding together, meeting new people with the same interest has increased our enjoyment two fold. To me it is a meditation, it relieves any stress I may have encountered, and allows me to keep the problems or troubles of the day in the back of my mind. I do dread the day we can no longer ride together. I will not give it up until I can not longer ride with out any fear for our safety. Right now, I am living the life I love and treasure all the rides, big and small. It is still a thrill to remember. Yama Mama:smile5:

That is one of the many reasons that I have decided to retire after 21 years. I need some freedom to do what I want to do when I want to do it. Our youngest daughter and granddaughter live 10 hours away and now I have the freedom to go visit when I want to. It should be great. Yama Mama:smile5:

Thank you Don! I forgot one other event. Our son's girlfriend's graduation party is also June 2, which we were invited to. Now that I am retiring, these could be our last invitations to any thing! Yama Mama

Well I am going to be there anyhow just to show we do own an RSV! He he he he! Yama Mama:Venture:

Just to let you all know, that Ron and I never have any plans usually. Some how June 2 must be the international date for any event to be planned on. First my school is having a retirement party for me and two teachers on June 2. My great nephew is graduating from Medical school on June 2. I used to baby sit him when he was in kindergarten. But Ron and I are coming to Freebird's June 2! I refuse to give up my favorite event of the year. I hope the rest can forgive me! Yama Mama

Jean is going to look great in that Jeff! What a beauty, and the car is nice too. Yama Mama:smile5:

I was told we may be going again this year. We hardly ever make plans. Last time we camped in Spearfish at Chris's Campground which was pretty nice. I truly do want to go back to the Badlands and the Black Hills. We rode the whole 3600 mile trip in 09, without any real problems. I loved the whole experience, even the golf ball size hail in Sturgis. Yama Mama:smile5:

On behalf of me, thank you! Ron and I have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. It is my greatest achievement in life, being a Mom. Happy Mother's Day to all our Mom's. Enjoy your day! Yama MAMA

Hello Out there! Is anybody there? Lewis's St. Jude's Auction is going on. It will be over soon. Let's go, we need some more bids. See the idea is to raise money for the little ill children at St. Jude's Hospital. You give money and you get a nice looking T Shirt, hat and pin. It is not hard at all. Yama Mama:smile11:
-
Reminder, Check out the Cruzin for St. Jude Auctions. There is only 3 days left, I believe. Lewis needs more action in the auction. There are T Shirts, pins and hats waiting to be bid on. Help this great cause, just because you care about the children. Yama Mama

Since today is Nurse's Day, I thought I would say thanks to all the Nurses in our group. Also, after being a nurse in a school district for 21 years and a RN for much longer than that, I have decided to retire. I am very excited about it. I hope to get to take a lot of motorcycle trips and spend much more time doing those projects at home that never seemed to get done. And possibly not get so stressed over unimportant things in life. Ah it will be so nice. Yama Mama:223:
