Listen to Yammer Dan, Kiwi.......He knows what he is talking about, except for the Second gen. comment. Hehehehehe! Yama Mama

Last night on VR Chat we had 8 members on chatting. It was a very good night. We had our only member from New Zealand, Kiwiroyale. Talk about me being excited is an understatement. To think I am sitting at home in Cincinnati, Ohio chatting with a man who is living in New Zealand, plus it was the next day in the afternoon there. It is also winter time in New Zealand. Is it me, or is this just really wild? I often think that if we had never joined this Venturerider group, we would have never met all these fantastic, interesting, fabulous people who come from all over the world. We are so fortunate to be members of this family. Yama Mama

We knew you are busy farming right now. We will be there when you have the time once again. Bring some music with you too! Yama Mama

Sorry Rodney, I should have shot off my shotgun. I will next time. Of course, it was a night that I was sort of tired again, so I gave in to it. I will catch you tonight. You too Bob, come on back.

Okay, I found that begging worked for a while. We did have some new folks come and try VR Chat. I slipped and let my thread scoot on back in to nonexistence in no man's land. So in another effort to get people here to at least try VR Chat I am going to beg again. That is right, I no longer have any pride, so PLEASE COME AND TRY VR CHAT SOME TIME SOON! What do you have to lose? I know I have nothing to lose because I am begging. Yama Mama ( A spineless human being)

Dan I could never be mad at you. I have just been busy. I hope to hear from you soon. Yama Mama
-
That was really late for us Dan. We will be on tonight again, I hope you try again. We would love for you to stop in. We could discuss Blue First Gens, or what ever you want. Yama Mama
-
Yep, I was there from probably 8:15 or so. We probably should have a taco Thursday party tonight Yama Mama
-
As long as you keep trying Dan, that is what is important. May be tonight will be the night. I wish that computer of yours would cooperate with you. Any how we will be waiting for you tonight. Yama Mama

I understand that the official "Party Pooper" had better things to do than be with us VR Chat people. I guess we just have to face the fact that a Giant Root Beer float out weighs his interest in his chat buddies. I guess we just will have to get over it! May some time soon puc will have time for us folks in chat. I not only beg, but I can spread a lot of guilt too, after all I am a woman, it is what I do! Love ya cowpuc! Yama Mama

Okay, now I am not only begging people to come visit VR Chat, but I am even answering my own posts. I think desperate times call for desperate actions, and it looks like that is the way I roll. Seriously, we had a member drop in last night just to ask a mechanical question, he was only there to do that, and that is okay too. He got his answer and left. He did not even wait for our clever jokes or pizza. So there you have it. Yama Mama

We had another great night on VR Chat. More new people came in to try it and I think they liked it. I hope this continues. We really had a lot of fun. EtRider, krispy, and John were there, plus Flyinfool, rbig1, bj66, and Yammer Dan. I hope more try it tomorrow night. Remember I am begging, a lot of begging right here folks. Yama Mama

Bj, we missed you and we sure could have used some of that good music you usually have for us too. Come on tonight and we will see what will happen. Two nights in a row, might get my begging up for an all time high. Yama Mama

I would just like to thank all the folks who stopped by to chat last night. It just proves that a woman does have to beg to get her way. I will continue begging as long as folks keep coming in to try the chatroom. I even stayed up really late last night and did not fall asleep with my hands still on the keyboard. We had two new folks come in and try it. Big Lenny, Brenda, rbig1, Yammer Dan, Bongobobny (still not feeling well), and a guy named cowpuc, too. Now if only Flyinfool had not had another one of his meetings, we would have really had a good time. Yama Mama
-
Big Lenny, I am sure we will be there waiting for your return from baseball. See we even bend over backwards for you. Yama Mama

I would like to invite any new members and old members who have never tried the chatroom, to come and try it tonight. Usually, Flyinfool, rbig1, Bongobobny, Yammer Dan or bj66 is there to chat with us. Please come in and just try it, you may like it. Besides Freebird has been kind hearted enough to get this for us members, it would be really nice if more people would use it. Do not be fearful that we type too fast. That is not a problem. We would really like to chat with you or if you have a mechanical issue with your bike (not much chance of that) there are plenty of experienced mechanics to ask any question you may have. Just check and see if any one is on. Usually, we come on around 8 PM EST, or sometimes earlier. I just thought I would beg. Yes I am begging for people to try chat. It has come to that. Yama Mama

Hi Phoneman, Nice of you to stop by to say hi. Ride safe. Stop into the VR Chatroom some evening. Yama Mama

Come to our first Neked Meet and Eat in the VR Chat tomorrow night around 8PM EST. If you are new to the group, or old to the group, or not sure you are in a group as yet, you need to come in and try it out. It is very easy. You click on VRCHAT and there you are. A great biker once said, Where ever you go, there you are! Please come and try it, you may like it. Oh and we have free pizza and drinks. Park your bike outside, I hate the tire marks on my rug. Yama Mama

That is great news SKID. Since I retired I have taken on the thankless jobs of cleaning, cooking, laundry, yard work, and general needs at home for no money at all. Oh, wait a minute, I have always done those jobs besides my full time job. Oh well. I am happy for you at least. Yama Mama

What a cowinkydink! We got a call too. They are recalling the cassette tape decks in all the Ventures. Seems they can be a safety hazard. People let go of the handlebars trying to change the tape causing tremendous dangers on the road. We told them thanks, but we already threw ours out on the road, which probably caused another hazard. Gee, you had a really bad experience. Ron and I are not members of the STAR group, so I do not have any thing to say about it. But I do know that some of our members here are members of STAR too. Ron and I probably will only ride over to the event to see what is going on. It was funny, two days ago we were at a Yamaha/Honda dealer in town, and he had no idea the STAR Days was in Cincinnati, this year. I had to fill him in. Yama Mama

We actually live very close to Greenhills. That is a nice ride on US 22 and US 3 also. We go to Lancaster that way which is also a nice ride. On the edge of the Hocking Hills which is Ohio's little secret paradise. Yama Mama

Freebird's Maintenance Day - Do we want to do it?
Yama Mama replied to Freebird's topic in Watering Hole
You know Ron, (my first husband) and I will be there with our flying tent. I would not miss it. Some people go to resorts in the Bahamas, we go to Oberlin, Ohio. You do what you think is best Don. We appreciate all that you have already done for our group over the years our group has been around. Thank you for everything. Yama Mama -
I would say it is worth the trip. Heading in any direction from Sharonville, you can find many nice country roads with many hills. Especially, Kentucky and along the Ohio River, either east or west. We especially love to ride in south western Indiana. Yama Mama
-
There are many places to ride in the area. We usually go to Kentucky, or Indiana. We do not like to ride in the city either, however the country roads are not very far from where the Star Days will be. We will more than likely not attend the event, we are not members. However, if possible we would like to see the bikes in the parking lot. We always enjoy looking at other Yamaha's. Any rides along the Ohio river are nice. Many good roads to ride in all directions from Sharonville. Of course, if you are interested in amusement parks, Kings Island is very close by. I am sure the people planning Star Days have planned some really good rides. Yama Mama
