Merry Christmas to all! I am always upset when someone wishes me a Happy Holiday, as in a store for instance. I always look them in the eye and respond, Merry Christmas. What is the world coming too. Peggy

Hey How about a Bichon. We have one and I would have to say it is the most wonderful dog we have ever had. They have a sweet disposition, are loving, smart, and wonderful companions. Oh and they are small too. But the idea of going to the Humane Society is a good one. Sometimes the mixed breeds are the best you will ever find. I wish you luck. Our lives would be surely dull without our dogs. Peggy

Thanks for all the interesting comments and responses. I was just curious. We have had an artificial tree ever since out first Christmas together. Ron waited until Christmas Eve to get our real tree. Of course, when he brought it into our little apartment, all the needles scattered over the floor. It looked like Charlie Brown's Christmas tree. So ever sense then to avoid an Un peaceful Christmas we have had the artificial type. And it has been much more of a Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas. Peggy:big-grin-emoticon:

Nothing about motorcycling. Just wondered how many have an artificial Christmas tree or a real tree. Do you have a special tradition your family has this time of year. Peggy:wow:

But what about Italian bed bugs. They are probably immune. But that is still interesting information. Peggy

Angels we have heard on high, huh. I hope Santas stress decreases about December 26, 2007. Have a Merry Christmas. Peggy

I do not want to make this worse, but there is also a problem of a very common pest known as the bed bug. These cause infestations especially on mattresses in hotels. http://hotels.about.com/od/hotelsecrets/a/bed_bugs.htm Read and enjoy. Peggy

Now wait a minute here Gene, If I did have something to do with it, I would be the first person to know I had something to do with it. What was it I had something to do with again. Never mind. Talk to you tomorrow. Where is my chat support group when I need it? Peggy

I will keep Gary in my prayers. Gosh if we could only go back to what life was several months ago. It is so terribly sad for him and his family. God Bless you! Peggy

Bike kicked, brackets bent - what is with people today?
Yama Mama replied to cowpuc's topic in Watering Hole
I am sure sorry to hear what happened to you. I do not think there is any one answer to the situation of people not respecting our proprety. I work in schools, I see it all and have heard it all. I believe kids today get too much, and do not appreciate what they have, because they do not understand what it is like to have to work for what you have. Several years ago we were at a Easy Rider event in Chilocothe,Ohio where some bikers burnt up some Japanese motorcycles that had come to the event. What a horrible thing. We left right after that, no sense taking chances. I am sure we would have been next. I also think that the absence of religious practice by many families has gotten us in this sad state of affairs. Taking God out of our world is not the way to resolve our problems. Worrying about offending everyone, when we say"Merry Christmas". I could say more, but I am pretty sure you get my drift. Peggy -
Jim, I am glad you are on the mend. Congratulations on your engagement. Keep doing what the doctor tells you. Peggy

Just reminding folks about the VR Chat. It has been sort of slow in chat. I wondered where all the One Leg Up Lounge folks are. Come in when you are able. Peggy:big-grin-emoticon:
