After all of these years, I thought you were a pigment of my imagination . It was very nice meeting you. Loved you cheese treats too. Yama mama

I could say I saw a lot of the folks there were "lit" up but had no idea there was a flashlight. Actually, I did see that sitting by the garage, but naturally I thought it belonged to you. I hope you find the owner. Usually they just leave their lawn chairs. Yama Mama

I know I missed Flyinfool and his rumballs this year. Usually, just the fumes gets me through. This time I had to settle for Marcarl's hugs. You Canadians are the best huggers. Yama Mama

Yes Dan, I believe I heard Eileen say something about seeing the Pond Monster. She may even have a video of the sighting! Let me see if I can find that information for you. Yama Mama

Now that was funny Bob! We all know those stories! Hehehehe Yama Mama:sign isnt that spec

All the years Moped and I have come to MD at Freebird's I usually would take photos of the bikes. This year I tried to get some faces too. Yama Mama

My forum name is Yama Mama, A friend at work suggested the name and I took it. The joke is it is all wrong. My name is Peggy. So obviously I should have the name "Highway Peg" It would have been perfect, but no I have to take the first name I hear. Dern it! I am just glad my friend did not mention Septic Tank as a name. That would really stink. Yama Mama

Yama Mama replied to Freebird's topic in Star Venture and Eluder Tech Talk ( '18 - Present)
American, I am probably too late with this response. Freebird explained this issue the best that anyone could have said it. I hope you do change your mind. Our group has always been about motorcycling and it does not matter to us what kind of bike anyone has. We are all friendly folks and we enjoy motorcycling. Freebird is the fairest person there is. And what he told you is the absolute truth. Cowpuc is a great guy and he does like to stir the pot.:stirthepot: So if you decide to leave our forum it will be your loss, because I can tell you there is no better group anywhere to be found than the Ventureriders. The MD attendees had a tribute to our friend Yammer Dan. It was Rockin Robin's idea to place tent poles and a photo of Dan on the poles. I think Dan would have loved the idea. Yama Mama

Moped and Yama Mama made it home from MD. We met so many new people this time. We had a wonderful time. We would like to thank the greatest couple in the world, Eileen and Don for all of their hard work and kindness. We hope to be there again next year, God willing and we can still get our legs up high enough to get on the RSV 99. Yama Mama

MarCarl, I still love ya, but watch your back. I personally know the "pond monster"! Yama Mama
-
Puc, I think you are "horsin" around. I am just making sure I can get off of our RSV or our pony. I know once I see the gravel I will have a strong urge to get off. Yama Mama

Make sure you have some gas in it! This might be tricky. Yama Mama.

Hi Don, I have not been on a ride as yet this season. Do you have a lift or a small Bobcat that can get me off the bike. It is a three and 1/2 half ride at least, if our GPS leads us to Hawley Rd. the right way. Maybe an Amish farmer has some plow horses available that could pull me off the bike. Just a thought. I am sure if I can't off of the bike, I will be fine. As long as Moped parks it some where that I can see everything okay. If Eileen would lay some old pillows on the drive I am sure I can fall off with out too much of an injury. I am of course, just kidding about the Amish plow horses, the rest is true. See you on Friday! Yama Mama and Moped.

Hello everybody, Moped and me are planning on coming to MD. We always camp in our flying tent. I say that because the last time, our tent practically flew over the pond. Even the pond monster was scared. It was a really damp night that night, but the "Black Death" tonic managed to let me sleep. Or may be it was the apple pie, either way we plan to be there. I apologize if I do not know all your names. I even wear a name tag so I remember my name. Yama Mama

Hey Ben, I was actually going to message you about the loss of our Yammer Dan, but I somehow figured you saw it. It is such a sad loss for us all. Yama Mama

Nanci you are my new mentor. I think it is wonderful all the things you are doing to promote leather and motorcycling. Good for you. Ride safe and enjoy the wind in your face. Yama Mama

Any one who has gone to Freebird's MD knows that there is a lot of discussions under that canopy on the driveway. I found this photo of Dan shooting the breeze at one of them. Yama Mama

I am trying to think of all the things Dan was as a friend. Although I only saw him at the MD's and also at the SKID in, we still knew each other very well because we would chat on our VR chat a lot. Believe it or not you learn a lot about someone by chatting., Dan was always pretty much in a good mood when talking about bikes. He sure loved the first Generation bikes. I lost count but I believe he had about 9 of them. It was always a competition with him when he would get into conversations about which bike was the fastest. Of course, to him the First Gen was the winner. He knew everything there was about those bikes too. I never saw Dan in a bad mood when I was around him. He always gave me a big hug. Although, if he felt he had wronged by someone he would let you know. He was a good family man too! He loved all of his children and grand children. He especially loved Patsy, who he jokingly called Warden. Dan will always be missed in our Venturerider family. I say family rather than group, because we are a family. We were joined together because of our love of riding, but it became more than that. We got to know each other, and care for each other. When there is a tragedy in our family we always join together to get through it. When we call Dan our brother and friend, that is what he was and will always be to our family. God Bless his memory. I am only glad about two things in this whole horrible situation, he finally got to ride on his beautiful trike and he is no longer in any pain. Yama Mama

Prayers up for our dear friend Dan. You will always be remembered. Yama Mama -
I have been asked to write something for Dan's family from a former member Ruffy, who's name is really Jeff Koppelman. Jeff wanted me to extend his most sincere condolences to Dan's family and Patsy. He knew Dan very well . Yama Mama

I am sorry that I am just now getting around to posting. I have known Yammer Dan since I first joined the family. I used to chat with four members on VR chat almost every night. They were Mini Muffin, Dray, Ruffy, and Yammer Dan. Sometimes it would just be Yammer Dan and myself. Three days ago Dan messaged me and wondered if Ron and I could help him out with getting this trike he wanted to buy. We unfortunately were really busy this weekend with our daughter coming in from Chicago, or we would have tried to help him. One night I could not sleep and Dan came on and we chatted again. He was so excited about this trike he had found, he could not sleep. So I was trying to tell him how happy I was for him. Today, I heard the horrible news. Ron and I are in tremendous shock. Our sympathies to Dan's family and all of his good friends. I know we will never forget our dear friend Dan. This photo is from the first SKID IN, Yammer Dan is in the black t-shirt and doo rag on the far left standing next to Ron and me. Yama Mama

Your post really tears at my heart. I will pray for Cole's family in their time of suffering. It is such a sad story, but so wonderful that his organs will be used to save others lives. He will always be remembered that way. Thank you for sharing this story with us, and we will pray for Cole's family. Ron and Peggy Yerger
