That's REALLY quite a find. Not too many people have an item reserved only to museums. I wonder if the sale will make any headlines ? be pretty interesting to see what it actually goes for.

I've been looking for a utility trailer for several days, can't find a used one. What I need is a tandem axle, one axle w/brakes and 6 ply tires. A 14' trailer would work just fine but I don't have anything against a 16' except the price. If anybody knows of one within a hundred miles or so of Canton Ohio - pm me or call. phone # is in my profile Thanks in advance Dick B added because I'm not too bright - no ramps- no side load - no rails - no nothin' - just a flat bed trailer ( thanks barend )

I only had 2 "plugs" on my RK's - one on each end - takes quite a long shaft to reach the middle

Yeah - I know I'm one lucky guy to have spending freedom I have. I guess the real secret is that there's no debt incurred. The card gets paid off every month, plus I get 3% taken off the top.

I've got 600 + sales/buys on ebay with a perfect rating. I have individual sales up to $10,000.00 and individual purchases just over $19,000.00 - never had a problem with one exception and that was over a $12.00 used phone. The buyer had to wait for almost a month for her disability check. Of course that never went anywhere. It ended up costing me a relisting fee and the image of someone spending money they don't have. Had there been some rhetoric prior to the bidding I could have arranged for shipping/listing fees only as payment.

What time is it?

I sure hope the Zumo 550 still has support. I just bought a lifetime card for mine - actually, I bought one for the Nuvo 1490T and the Zumo. I'm going to get the Zumo set up tomorrow, got the 1490T done today. -
the original question " can you run two different brand/tread pattern tires on the front and rear... " reminds me of the dual purpose bikes. I think they are called " Enduros " 'nuff said '

I had an 1100 V-Star a couple years ago and it popped/backfired between shifting and on deceleration. The mechanic at our local Yamaha shop fixed it with a ball bearing, didn't even charge me. Matter of fact, we talked about it and he walked out to the bike in the lot and fixed it there. -

I've had both of those areas exposed, just wasn't looking for fuses at the time. Probably should look and get a set of spares to have on hand Thanks guys -

I finally called for help - it appears that I have a defective wireless modem They are sending another one out today
-
Ok - I understand now, I know a couple guys that own Wings and refuse to use their intercom system. Delivery is scheduled for Monday the 12th. I told her what I bought and she did ask how much it cost - I got away with "there's some things that shouldn't be talked about" Not sure how I got away with that, guess I'm just lucky.

my wep says it can't find anything to connect to I tried for half an hour to link using a password. NO go - but the other one links immediately
-
I didn't see a password , didn't see anything. I energized it and the puters found it. With a population of 1200 I don't think too many neighbors have a wireless puter.

I had Time Warner take their hub out today and I installed my own. I've been putting this off for over a month because of the horror stories I've read about. I bought an "inexpensive" Linksys hub ($30) and plugged it in, my laptop recognized it immediately and my Dell had to have the NetGear software reloaded. The entire operation took about 10 minutes. All 3 puters are up and running at a $15 a month savings.

when using the headset, both hands are still on the bars - I don't understand ?? When my phone is paired with my Zumo, the phone is then left in my pocket -

I had a friend that used one of those. He really liked it but if you have irregular roads or drives that you use regularly, you have to be careful about getting high sided. On more than one occasion his drive wheel got in a rut with the outriggers on solid ground - caused a lot of spinning and tire wear. The upside is that they can be bought used for $1500 or so versus $6000 plus for a trike conversion and then getting it installed. Usually wind up with a ten thousand dollar bill disappearing. Do they still make a $10,0000.00 bill ?

That would work if I weren't WORKING ! It's really funny when a customer wants to buy something and you won't answer the phone. They'll go somewhere else - that's not very profitable. That's why I spent the money for the bluetooth - now I have it on the bike and the truck. btw - using the phone on the bike is no more distracting than talking thru the intercom to your passenger.
-
they were all business calls and emails. Very few personal things on the cell. my blackberry is continually the source of potential income. I have to be able to respond, that's why I went ahead & got the 1490T - for the bluetooth. So now when I'm in the truck or on the bike I'm in a safer environment for calls. The emails make a different sound and I can handle most of them at will.

My wife had to take a neighbor to see her Dr. today and she left me home alone with the credit card. MISTAKE !! I've been contemplating for several weeks and today I finally did it while she was gone. I bought the Garmin 1490T with the life time update card and a second lifetime card for my Zumo 550 on the bike. Lotta money - (about $500 ) but it's worth it just for the blue tooth. Last week I had to make a near 2000 mile trip alone and the phone never stopped. It always makes me nervous to answer the phone while driving but it's even worse when you have to call someone that's NOT in your phone book. Maybe I'm just getting too old for that OR maybe I'm finally getting a LITTLE smarter Now if I can stay outta site for a while - - - -
