Nice camper - we also have a travel trailer. 2 years ago I bought a Rampage Lift for my truck, so now I can take the bike with us when we go camping. We tried the Quick Camp behind the bike a few years ago, took one really nice 2 week trip to the Grand canyon in Pa and Cook forest. Loved it - got home and sold it. We both prefer the Travel Trailer - too many amenities to give up, so the quick camp was gone

went to a "native" show last evening - took an hour boat ride to get there, beautiful live show in an outdoor theatre, great candle lit dinner in the forest and plenty of entertainment on the water.

There's a Days Inn on Niagara Blvd. that is 15 minutes from the falls and less than half the price of the ones at the falls. We stayed there 3 time in the last month, I think the rate is $61 including taxes etc. Nice clean room w/king size beds. Just google Days Inn/Niagara falls blvd.

Thanks guys - this is our first time to Mexico, let alone an all inclusive. We're staying at the Vallarta Palace. Just a beautiful place - we had a ribeye steak dinner tonight and everything was GREAT. The presentation was awesome, the wine glass never emptied and nobody expected a gratuity. There are several 'bars' in the compound and all we have to do is ask for a drink and it's right there. no charge of course - just an unbelievable experience - I'll have some pics when we get back.

big difference in ride and handling

Good Morning everybody - What an experience, all inclusive vacation, got here yesterday and have done nothing but relax and let people wait on us. we've got a fishing trip planned and hopefully I'll luck into a sailfish or at minimum a nice tuna. I'm happy I don't have the Venture 'cause I'd want to go riding and that could turn sour real quick. gonna be hard to leave next week.
-
I guess I don't fully understand - I've had a dozen dirt bikes that got me from point a to point b, then I went to the street and have had as many street bikes that got me from point a to point b. The 'streets' were all Honda and Yamaha, 650's, 1100's, 1500's and now a 1300 Venture. If they quit making the Venture and I continue riding, I'll find something else that will get me from point a to point b. I really don't care what I ride, I just don't like working on a wing.

Best wishes Taters - I hope your recovery this time is a good one !!

Ok - I was just kidding, I'm heading to Mexico on an all inclusive 6 day get away. 24/7 room service, pool, Pacific ocean, drinks I never heard of - I'm pumped. btw - wife is going with me, gonna be FUN !!!

Hey guys - all that are going to RT this year - my phone # is in my profile. Give me a call when you get there, sure would like to make a connection with names and faces. It looks like my wife will NOT be going - unforseen circumstances - damn, I really wanted her to experience this first time with me.

Thanks Herb- if you don't mind, I'll copy and paste in a message to him.

A friend is heading to the west coast from Ohio and was told that route 40 thru New Mexico and Arizona is heavily grooved from semi's. Anybody in that area have current info ? Thanks
-
I usually don't have any trouble but getting off the bike is always fairly simple. I dismount and that allows her to slide forward to my seat and dismount as I just did.

I'm a newbie to this board but not to cancer. I know the pain - My condolences to Bob's family and friends.

There's a LOT of truth in that - On my way back to Ohio from Baltimore Md yesterday, I almost ran a stop sign. Fortunately,my wife was with me and she alerted me and we got stopped but in the wrong lane and way in front ( wrong side ) of the stop sign. It was state route to state route and a lot of traffic on the one I was supposed to stop for. It was a matter of having my mind on business instead of the road. lesson learned I HOPE !!

might be easier just to stop when the light is RED

The one partial plate looked like an Ohio plate - perhaps it was Springfield Ohio

Good Luck on a safe trip back home RandyR - watch the other guy - he'll be your nemesis.

I'm the furthest thing there is from being a Ford enthusiast but that is one NICE car. I do have a question - is it a 10 footer ? or more.

Contact MotorTrike in Texas - I believe they use the 7 1/2 rear end and it's a ford.
