  4. The only real evidence I have is that someone told me that dyna beads don't work and I read it somewhere, maybe it was here but Im convinced that they are worthless because I read it. I haven't tried them but none the less - someone said
  5. I herad he was headed to Hollywood to sign up for dancing with the STARZ !!
  6. I drink and I used to smoke and quite frankly I don't give a crap what anybody else does -- as long as their actions don't effect me in an adverse way.
  7. Perhaps I'm one of the 'lucky' ones that got one of the trucks that were done right. In 1990 I bought a new Dakato - that was the LAST time I bought any car or truck NEW. I have since owned half a dozen Silverado's all bought at least 1 year old. The only problem with any of them was in the '05' and it was a $75 fix. Probably could have got it fixed under warranty if I had yelled loud enough. It was the steering knuckle the was engineered poorly, but I didn't consider it an issue at all. I'll most likely die with a Silverado in the driveway.
  8. the first step is recognizing that there IS a problem, you're on your way my friend
  9. Bubber - pm sent
  10. if it's settling in around 190, isn't that where it's supposed to be ?? It seems all the newer vehicles run a lot hotter than the old small blocks did - 160 or so
  11. give http://www.walterschevy.com/ a try, ask for Joe. I've bought my last 2 used Silverado's from them. Dodge doesn't make an extended cab, all quad cabs
  12. Bubber - if'n you really want to do this - I only live a few miles from pinwall in Navarre Ohio and if you're going to md @ freebirds this year, tell them you have it picked up and I'll bring it up.
  13. ? ? ? ?
  14. there's always http://myworld.ebay.com/ebaymotors/pinwall_cycle_parts/ as many bikes that they take apart, there ought to be plenty of swing arms around
  15. hee hee hee
  16. If the picture he sent me is current, it's a pretty good lookin' bike
  17. YEAH - had it been one of those 3, I'da been draggin' my boat to him
  18. Thats why I came here looking - I forgot about having to rebuild them after 40 or 50k - I really didn't want it anyway
  19. this one is supposed to be SPECIAL - like I said earlier, I'm no Harley expert
  20. In his first contact with me, he claims his Classic # 482 will go for about $12,500 in the spring. He's from Pa and the riding season is over for us. The $12,500 figure is nearly 3 time my face value of the boat I have for sale - looks good on paper but then so does some of the stuff coming out of DC !!
  21. That's pretty much my thoughts
  22. I need some input from the Harley guys here. I've been offered a 1988 Ultra Classic as trade for an item I have for sale. It appears to be in good cosmetic condition but I have no solid experience with Harleys. This would be strictly for turn over. I really don't have any desire to own a Harley except for profit. I guess I need to know whether this bike has any mechanical flaws and if it has a viable value this coming spring and what that value 'might' be. Thanks
  23. What's facebook ??
