  1. you'll like the IMAC - when you get used to it. I've had Apple for 15 years or so and currently have a Mac Pro desk top and a MacBook Pro lap top. I have the MacBook partitioned and Windows XP Pro on half of it.
  2. pretty dumb way to gauge it but I was riding again when I could bend my knee enough to hit the brake peddle - still hurt like heck. That was 1 up, scared to try it 2 up till wife said I was ready that was with my knee replacement -
  3. I've watched their auctions on line - it reminds me of a VERY controlled circus event. I can't imagine how much fun you're going to have. Just remember - don't lean over the cars, 'cause they'll make you clean the ones you salivate all over
  4. I have a zumo with XM - have XM in the truck as well. there's too many venues to go to an MP3 - besides, I'd get lost w/o the zumo - nuvi 1490 in the truck. Not sure how I would have found Liberty Illinois today w/o that cutie telling me where to go
  5. are you selling or appraising ? if selling check on ebay for prices of bikes that are actually selling - if you're looking for and appraisal, kbb would most likely fly
  6. Guess where I am now.... Our teacher asked us what our favorite animal was, and I said, "Fried chicken." She said I wasn't funny, but she couldn't have been right, everyone else in the class laughed. My parents told me to always be truthful and honest, and I am. Fried chicken is my favorite animal. I told my dad what happened, and he said my teacher was probably a member of PETA. He said they love animals very much. I do, too. Especially chicken, pork and beef. Anyway, my teacher sent me to the principal's office. I told him what happened, and he laughed too. Then he told me not to do it again. The next day in class my teacher asked me what my favorite live animal was. I told her it was chicken. She asked me why, just like she'd asked the other children. So I told her it was because you could make them into fried chicken. She sent me back to the principal's office again. He laughed, and told me not to do it again. I don't understand. My parents taught me to be honest, but my teacher doesn't like it when I am. Today, my teacher asked us to tell her what famous person we admire most. I told her, "Colonel Sanders". Guess where I am now.
  7. yeah - I'd like to see a list of the quality tires, I'll bet half of them are not on everybody else's quality tire list. -- WAIT - I don't have a list I wonder if my Kuhmo is a quality tire ?? It was when it was used on VW's
  8. SEE - I told you they don't work
  9. It's already been stated that they don't work - somebody read about them and proclaimed that they are worthless. First hand reading beats out first hand use any day.
  10. you have make sure they get IN - inside the home is the operative sentence. and then you HAVE to be in fear of your life. if those 2 items occur, then there will be funeral expenses for the perps family.
  11. did you get thumb screws for your bags yet ?? - cheap and really speeds up any job including cleanup
  12. not really too much to tackle - should be able to swap out in about an hour, including a beverage break
  13. I'll bet Bubber can tell you
  14. Actually - 650 miles South of me puts me in or near Orangeburg Ga. - from what I see on the news this morning, I'm still in better weather. It's not snowing here in Quincy
  15. Bubber - I spoke to Jill yesterday. Did I mention that she works in Columbus Ohio, lives in Newark and has 3 hours a day ( on a good day ) commute ? she said she would get some pics as soon as she can. Dick
  16. it was 5 degrees when I got up so I jumped in the truck and started driving till I found warmer weather. Didn't find much till I got to Quincy Indiana, 650 miles and 10 hours later. managed to find a really nice steak house and a place to sleep. gonna look around a little tomorrow and head back home. forgot to mention - temperature got all the way up to 23
  17. That "graph" was a perfect example of what has happened to technology over the years. Forget the economic impact and longer life span, look at PROGRESS ! Great video !!!
  18. I didn't meet up with any RFTW riders but I did go to DC last year for Rolling Thunder. An AWESOME event !!!
  19. I suppose the good thing is you're not in a coma
  20. Didn't mean to rub it too much but the Stealers have been doing it to the Browns for so long I just couldn't help myself when the Buckeyes do good.
  21. ooooopps !! One of your teams beat an SEC team in a BCS bowl. One of your fan bases finally got to serenade departing fans with a mocking S-E-C chant. For you, Tuesday was as sublime as Saturday was awful. Even better, Ohio State beat Arkansas not because of some stereotypical strength-versus-speed fiction but because the Buckeyes were the better team, plain and simple. 22. not much to say since you've been there, done that before. I did it once, didn't like it at all, but 2 years later, I'm a happy camper. Good luck with your surgery and best of luck with your therapy.
  23. If a person can't enjoy "The Big Bang Theory" and "Two and a Half Men" then they need to move to a climate where instead of a remote they can fondle the handle bars 24/7 jmho
  24. I just had a most pleasant buying experience with them. As a matter of fact, the item I bought wasn't what I thought it was and they switched items for me. Amber and the other girls were pleasant to work with. Living only 20 minutes away from them, instead of 5 hours, does help take some of the sting out of the deal.
