I don't understand the 10 month wait. I was getting a cortisone shot every 90 days or so and when that didn't work the last time, I was scheduled within a month. I have to add that I had 4 surgeries covering 46 years starting in 1961 - the 5th time was the replacement. There wasn't too much left to scrape - btw - none of them were orthoscopic surgeries My new knew was the best thing to happen to me except for my 2007 Venture

I'm comfortable with the light spacing (appearance) but didn't know or think about a cracking problem
-
forgot to mention that you have to loosen the lights to take it off and every time I did it, I loosened the bolts too much and had a heck of a time getting them back in - might as well get the spacers, you'll have the front off again anyway.
-
You can do it - I've done it many times and was lucky that I didn't scratch the fairing BUT I finally did get the spacer blocks and install them. It's Sooooo much easier with the blocks in place.

retirement - let me see - January '05 to April 2011, that's 75 months - about 2250 days (but who's counting)

I've never been on a poker run where every bike left the starting gate at the same time, that takes some of the fun out of it. I always enjoyed figuring out the route and having a nice leisurely ride. Sorry to hear about your friend -

I would guess that the dealer is hedging his bets - diversification is one major key to success in todays retail world.

we have had 'macs' for years, presently we have a Mac Pro desk top and a MacBook Pro laptop. I recently bought a Dell 15" laptop w/W7 and had a dickens of of time adjusting from XP. I had the MacBook Pro partitioned with XP on it for work -

I totally like the fact that the I-Pilot will retrace your route if you tell it to.

There were a couple questions about having sugar free ice cream at MD - I asked Keith Schlonager, my supplier about sugar free, this was his response: Yes we do. We make it with the Agave nectar. There has been some questions about this agave, but we have been selling it for about 4 years and no one has come back and said it raised their sugar. We have had some people test their sugar and found after 2 hours no increase in their sugar levels. It does seem to make the ice cream a bit more harder and a bit icy though. Please do your research on it, it's your decision. If the diabetics agree that this is a product that can be used then I will order a container and most likely it will be Vanilla. Please keep your responses limited to what you actually prefer, not what you think Big Tom will consume I found this link about Agave Nectar http://www.allaboutagave.com/

Squidley is RIGHT !! We all go thru this at one time or another and the only REAL solution is to step back, take a deep breath, post guards to keep the warden at bay and get on the net and BUY BUY and just keep BUYING 'til you get caught or max out the card. Good Luck !! -

Hummingbird replied to 67mini67's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I came into a full case of Honda 1500 'factory' filters. They work just fine and as some of you know I was changing filters & oil once a month for a complete riding season. got pretty expensive - -

VERY nice - waaaaaay beyond my mechanical talents. -
I like the looks of many bikes out there but have no desire to switch from my Venture. XM radio takes care of the music and the bike fits - don't need anything else
