  1. How much paint are you getting ?? Were you told it only comes in quarts ? Check with one of your auto body shops nearby that has their own mix station, you might save $150 or more.
  2. Last time I was there ( a month ago) the street sign was blacked out gotta be quick -
  3. give her a sack full of money a couple pieces of furniture and get the keys to the house - say goodbye and you'll both be happier btdt
  4. I think on some gps's that you have to "tell it" where home is when you are at that location. So if you ever get home, when you are there tell it that you are home and it'll remember
  5. never built a trike but I did own 2 of them. Both were 1500 GoldWings - one had "easy steer" and the second did not. The one had a 3 1/2 degree "rake" and I didn't like it at all. was too easy to steer the second one wasn't altered and it seemed ( to me) to be just right. A lot of guys say it's too hard to steer if the triple tree isn't 'raked'
  6. anytime I see a buzzard circling, I check my pulse
  7. Does marcarl REALLY think he can do that and get away with it ? NOT !!
  8. BigTom - when you see me dragging my Travel Trailer in, the ice cream will have arrived. I'll have the ice cream in a secret compartment that only my wife knows how to find so we'll both have to be careful -
  9. yeah Jonsey - if he can get a brush on it he'll leave some paint
  10. if you use a hole saw and drill the plug out of both ends of the RK's, you'll pretty much have a straight thru exhaust. About the only way to get them any louder is with a straight pipe, had them on mine for 10 miles, couldn't wait to get home and shut it off -
  11. I live in Carroll county in Ohio and it's one of the most heavily deer populated counties in the state. I quit riding the highway at night YEARS ago

yeah --GETTING is pretty easy it's the UN-GETTING that can difficult ( and expensive ) at least it was 30 years ago
  13. It's a shame - some animals just can't deal with certain noises. I had a mongrel that would kill groundhogs every time he saw one but cringed at the sound of thunder.
  14. I gave J-Bird the hotelphone # today and told him to mention he was with Venture Riders and he should get a discount. So much for community spirit on their part
  15. I found some really good looking PINK in buzz bombs - think 3 of them will be enough ??
  16. I vote for GREEN
  17. For those that need/want some pin striping done at MD this year, J - Bird will be there set up and ready to "do it" Friday AM. I just spoke to him and he's anxious to be there again this year, he'll probably set up his canopy by the willow tree again.
  18. Jaybird will be there again this year. Most likely he will do it as he did last year - just get your bike in line.
  19. Annie - gotta be careful, most states have an open container law. If there is an open container of liqueur found in a vehicle after an accident, speeding ticket or any cause for a leo to stop and look into your vehicle, it could cause serious ramifications. Any liqueur purchases should be made in smaller containers or drink it all. Most importantly, do not put an open bottle in your bike, trike, truck or anything you may drive down the highway. I'm just sayin'
  20. you can also go to lowes/menards/home depot and get a pair of emt straps ($1.29 ea.) and 2 short bolts and use them for a mount. If you get the clamp with the 'rubber' insert you'll have to get a larger size than the diameter of the pipe on your bike. I wish I could remember the sizes but I do remember the bolts have to be 1/2" or 3/4" long and use a flat and lock washer. I only did one RSTD and that was a couple years ago -
  21. That's pretty harsh - it looks to me like an aid to somebody that might have weak knees jmho
  22. stick it right there where the cassette player is - errr wait, is that a cassette in the middle of the pic ?
  23. That's a REALLY good looking bike !! see ya @MD
