I had 4 totally invasive surgeries on my rt knee starting in November 1961 and ending with a 5th surgery and total knee replacement in 2009. During rehab I promised myself and anybody that would listen that I would not do it again. I didn't help myself by hyperextending the 'new' knee 6 weeks after surgery but then it was a good learning experience. Ain't gonna do that again !! After all is said and done - yes I would do it again to be free of the pain I had prior to replacement. However, the pain (for some) in rehab is the worse part. They told me that one of my options was to go back in and remove some of the scar tissue - naw, tramodal (sp) and a glass of wine was good enough. I was riding again as soon as I could bend my knee enough to hit the brake pedal - probably a bad decision but I live in a small town, no traffic to be concerned about.

relatively sure that you're not the only retired in your neighborhood so look around for neighbors that need help with weeding the flowers, running errands or simple work around the house OR - do what I do, build rustic furniture and sell it All you need is a table saw, radial saw, 6 or 8 hand clamps, countless pipe clamps, eight or ten spare carbide tipped saw blades 1 set of good wood chisels, 2 or 3 cordless drill/drivers, cordless circular saw, cordless sawzall 8 or 10" compound/sliding mitre saw, 3 or 4 routers w/hundreds of $ in bits, at least 1 $300 router table w/a $400 lift and a $300 soft start variable speed router, plus, plus and plus then you need to stockpile a bunch of oak, pine, poplar and walnut. then design some unique furniture and cabinets and start building. You won't make an enormous amount of money but you will have an outrageous amount of fun, plus you may notice that your electric bill probably doubled and don't bother figuring out your hourly rate, I can tell you now, it'll be about $3.75 an hour. Don't worry about that 'cause you'll be having so much fun and be so busy that you won't care.

I couldn't help the grin Bob, I was happy for Linda - Linda taught Latin in HS for 30 years and she TOTALLY enjoyed seeing some of the area's she had talked about for so long. Pompeii was the most startling but Rome and the Vatican were so worth visiting. Of course, as the pics show, I didn't have any qualms about their beer

We only got to see Dubrovnik - the old walled city and a little of the new city. It was absolutely beautiful and all of Italy, Spain and Croatia that we saw was clean and tourist friendly. I'd be happy to send you a few pics of Dubrovnik - - -

Ok - there'll not be too much of an estate to fight over, we just spent it on our vacation of a lifetime. Linda, myself, Linda's brother Larry and his wife Shari and friends Joe and Carol took a 14 day vacation in Spain, Italy and Croatia. The cost was unimportant and insignificant compared to the experience. I can't believe I paid $75 for 6 beers in Cannes France but it was hot

not meaning to but I thought that a ccw was meant to be used as a self defense tool, not for intimidation. In todays world, there are too many people that tuck a gun of some sort between the seats (used to) and would not hesitate to use it if someone approached their vehicle in a menacing manor. Then, there is usually a widow and children involved and with a little luck the shooter will go to jail for 6 months. jmho

Don, as you know we lost our son to cancer a year ago last February and Linda has had cancer twice and was fortunate enough to beat it. We know all to well the stress and anquish one goes through when dealing with this dreadful desease. Linda and I wish you and Eileen and your family all the strength and prayers needed to get through this time in your lives.

I find your look at it very interesting as well. It's really refreshing to know that someone can disagree yet in the same tone agree and not try to start an argument. :clap2:

What an awesome trip - me and my wife will be in Italy and Croatia for 14 days but not on our bike. Don't think I could stand the excitement if we were taking the bike.

there are recreational meds - you're either doing drugs or you're not. prescribed drugs is another story - I firmly believe every state should follow their lead and we should go back to monitoring the spending of welfare money. It was meant for necessities not booze, beer and cigs. I saw a sign on a penny bowl at a store a while back that says it pretty plain and simple. "if you need a penny, take one, if you need five, get a job"

I put some under the tank, some under the seat and on the front lower fairing. Attached are 3 pics showing the colors but if you go to the site you can see all the colors this particular kit will do - and it's remote. you can strobe, flicker - all sorts of ways to light up. Plus it's plug and play. I also went to the extreme and put them on a relay - plus a lifetime guarantee
