never hear of the Coffee house or the bridge but they moved outlaw country to 58? had a heck of a time finding it on the new truck. I don't remember the highway - guess I need to look thru the stations while the truck is NOT moving

Bet that sounds great in the cab of her car Sirius/XM radio is nearly a must for me, I prefer 50's and 60's music and Linda likes a lot of the 40's music.

That's exactly why I don't post too often - I'm committed to NOT being an embarrassment to the site

One other thing I noticed from the start was that whomever had the helmet cam on either didn't have it adjusted to his field of vision or if he did he did not utilize his full field of vision. It sure looked at times that the camera was picking up a LOT less that the eye could see. Or maybe I just want to see more than the camera was showing when I ride or drive my cage

I didn't see a signal from either one - evidently a double yellow line down the middle of the road has different meanings in different states. Too bad the bike got beat up and yet another case of stupid cagers, they're always to blame

Probably not gonna believe this but I sold an old Sheridan on ebay a couple years ago for $1100.00 Ok - before someone jumps on it, I listed on ebay, got tons of questions, saved the addys knowing ebay would pull the listing. They did and I held a private auction with a given end time. A collector out in Utah (I think) bought it and was happy to get it so cheap. I still have a newer Sheridan in the closet.

We were having dinner at a side walk cafe in Melbourne and the owner came over and we talked for an hour about cars. He was telling us that Holden was making the GTO for Pontiac and he showed us pictures of his 1964 Holden. He had quite an assortment of cars including a CLK Mercedes. For me, that Chevy (aka UTE) is one hot car. Thanks flb_78 for the web site Another interesting thing is that some (in Australia) have the Chevy bow tie in the grill and some have the Holden emblem.

On our trip to Australia, I think I found the assortment of cars the most interesting. Attached is a picture of a Holden Ute. Here in the states we call it an El Camino, or used to. ( note the Chevy bowtie ) Also attached is a picture of the Ford version, the Falcon, we used to call it the Ranchero

We are at the end of our 'down under' journey. I know we didn't do/see nearly as much as we should have but time runs really fast when you don't want it to. Yes Brian it would have been great to have someone to help decifer the trams/busses and all the other modes of transportation. I totally whimped out and DID NOT rent a car after seeing some of the traffic I would have had to contend with. Bottom line - GREAT time, lotta fun and not nearly enough time.
