  1. I stand corrected ?? I'm probably wrong again, but in some cases rpm's and speed are relative
  2. I'm not an expert but I'd bet it needs tires $$$ and the whine comes and goes at different speeds. At 55 or so mine doesn't bother me at all. I did do a quick fix for the whine on my '07' by getting a pair of RK's and drill out both ends and installing them. It gives a little rumble but not so much tahe the wife objects. The price seems more than fair, check for cracks, loose/missing bolts, especially look at both handle bar grips for abrasion (sign of a drop) look at the rotors and oil level.
  3. You're kidding - right? I wasn't prodding into his personal life, I was commenting on his excellent play.
  4. I don't golf but long ago I took an interest when that upstart was making noise. Well, it look as tho he's back !! Great game today !
  5. WHAT HE SAID !!
  6. I know a guy that makes holsters, bet he could make shoulder carry for that but the conceal part is still schetchy - btw - have you applied for a loan to buy ammo yet ?
  7. Welcome K-rider, wouldn't surprise me if there's some Concours history here somewhere. Seems everybody has had many different bikes -
  8. I coulda shot it but my little 5 1/2' shimano brought them in, caught 2 of them whithin 1 minute then none could be bought
  9. There's plenty of experienced help to make them, they don't need my help and with a little luck I won't be volunteering
  10. I was thinking about how I could get Linda to guide the bike while I shoot the deer BUT I'm also thinking that would bring in one more multi-tasking facet making license plates
  11. Sleep - gotta get up early if'n you wanta get to the fishin' honey holes first
  12. naw - when I told her I put it on the 'card' she said "OK, I pay that card out of your checking anyway" ain't marriage great !
  13. I think it's called multi-tasking (riding, fishing, guns) That's a heck of of price for that Kimber. I think the lazer grip is a $300 ad on. GOOD on you !!
  14. Linda and I were out on a jaunt somewhere, doesn't make any difference - point is, there was a bedraggled looking fella on the curb at a stop light with a sign and it read: No sense lying, I need a beer darned near made me roll down the window and flip him a fiver
  15. That's kinda what my wife said
  16. As far as I'm concerned, you have bragging rights for life !! I would have paid to see that !
  17. omg - I can't even imagine a northern at the end of a 12 footer and 2 or 4lb line. That's almost enough to bring on an anxiety attack.
  18. oooops - my bad
  19. DITTO
  20. Ya better keep an eye on yer driveway 'cause the sheriff is surely gonna show up and arrest you for stealing. That is not a GREAT deal, that's phenominal !
  21. I prefer the otb never used a 12 footer. The reason - the lake I fish has NO STRUCTURE at all. I know, hard to believe but it's a man made 550 acre lake with a median 13' depth. http://lake-mohawk.org/lake-map most of my crappie fishing is from the bank as the lake hasn't reached summer pool yet. It's a lot of fun with a 5 1/2' light pole especially when a bass gets there first .
  22. now I'm up to $104 savings - now I can buy some ammo
  23. WOW - now I realize that I did get a bargain - I only paid $1227.00 for mine, saved $10 I can't wait to tell Linda how much I saved by driving 2 1/2 hours in my truck that gets 17 mpg on the highway
  24. It wouldn't have been bad if I hadn't been to Kames on Friday and left there with $150 worth of fishing 'stuff' I guess the real rub is that we seldom eat fish and more rarely do we keep what we catch. Fishing is almost as expensive as
