I found this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Harley-Davidson-Touring-Suspension-Air-Pump-54630-03A-Touring-Models-/200771042113#vi-content on ebay but there are others starting at $39

there's a zero loss guage and pump, around $30 or $40 can't remember. You can find it at any Harley parts store. It's a pain in the ---- on a tire but great for shocks when you only want a couple pounds of pressure. I just can't imagine having to use it for a tire tho - 1/2 a pound pressure isn't that critical in a tire

The Dr gave me Oxycoton for pain - I took maybe 6 pills out of the bottle he gave me and went to Tramadol, it's non- narcotic and to my knowledge not addictive. The same Dr. gave me the Tramadol for pain 3 or 4 months before surgery. I'm still working on that same script 3 years later with no refills.

I was back on my bike (2007 RSV) as soon as I could bend my knee enough to get my foot on the highway boards. I didn't go very far or for very long but then we only have one stop light in town and it's on the state highway so I could rider for 1/2 hour or so and not get on the highway. Pain - he$$ YES !! lots of it and can be pretty intense at times. I'd bet there are some that say the pain is minimal and I've got some ocean front property just outside of Phoenix Az. I'll sell them. APPROVED for a knee replacement ?? I always thought that replacement was an option of the patient. The Dr. told me my rt. knee needed to be replaced in 1978 and I kept saying no until 3 years ago when I relented and let them replace it. btw - that 2 weeks in the assisted facility is called torture but it should prove to be worth it. I went straight home from the hospital and traveled to a therapy unit nearby.

I just talked to JayBird and he said washing it now to get the bugs off would be OK but to wait a few more days before waxing. He didn't mention it but I have used detail wax (liquid) on week old pin stripes, never hurt mine.

This may inflame some but it's not meant to - This year has been the best and earliest riding season in Ohio for many years and having said that, I have a total of 2 1/2 miles in my Venture so far this year. I put a Kumho on my Venture not for mileage or not for expense but because I wanted to try it. I'm happy with the results it has given me thus far. Just to clarify my train of thought, I also have several hand guns, the one I like most is the Kimber with a hand grip laser. It probably doesn't shoot any better than the Glock or Keltec that I have but I wanted it. In the same vein, I have an arsenal of fishing poles, a boat, a building lot on a private 500 acre lake and we seldom eat fish. It's something we enjoy and wanted to do. The point is that when something comes up that spikes my interest and I can afford to do it without eminent harm, I will probably try it. Hence the Kumho on a bike that I don't even ride enough to wear it out. I just bought an "I' basket to try to eliminate the whine in my bike and I'll probably pay a local mechanic to replace it even tho my bike is still under warranty. WHY because I want to. It's my choice, my decision -
JayBird, the pinstriper, said he will be there Friday and Saturday
-
I saw him repairing some striping that some one else had done - mixed and matched the colors
-
JayBird is quite fond of Cash - didn't know he even took checks. When I asked him to participate again this year I asked about prices and he said he hasn't raised his prices for 6 or 7 years so what he did for the last few years will be the same this year. I do have to say, he's as fair priced as a striper can be. If anybody remembers my bike, he did quite a lot on it and it was $150 - I was real happy
-
I just got off the phone with JayBird, he said he's coming up on Friday so if there's a need, he'll be there with brush in hand

That looks like it would be AWFUL handy to keep the batteries on my pontoon boat charged ? the pontoon is in the water all summer with no electric access and I'm thinking that a wire extension and double sided tape would keep it on the metal canapy. Unplug while using the boat and plug it back in while sitting idle. Any reasons why this wouldn't work ?? -
Where in the H did that come from ?? pretty sure I wouldn't want to swim in his pond, he'd have to crap like a medium sized dog. gheeeeezzz

I found 40 to 44 lbs of air was just fine - no wobble, no wiggle and no high speed anything, that includes the speedometer -
-
OH NO - not dyna beads, there's a strong rumor that they don't work AT ALL !! teeheehee :stirthepot:

A while back, a year, 2 years, I really don't remember - I bought an item on Ebay, paid for it and awaited shipment. Didn't happen, waited, waited and finally got really pi$$ed that someone would act like that. I sent several scathing emails to the individual and finally received a response. " I apologise " he said "I had a medical emergency and have been in the hospital, I'll ship your parcel as soon as I can get to the PO " nuff said -

for a lot less than $100 you can still have a slight rumble and NOT have head crashing noise at cruising with a set of RK's drilled out at both ends. -
I had one wobble with the Kumo on a loooooong sweeping curve. Don't remember how fast I was going but it was over the speed limit. Added air and the woble went away. Since then I haven't had the urge to break the speed barrier - hence, no problem imho - 75 is too fast anyway, if you're late, should have left sooner.
