My reason, I like 'em I like drilled out RK's, can't stand to ride behind a Harley with screamin eagles. There is a HUGE difference between the two. forgot to add - loud is a relative term - the proper word should be decible level

I hope you are considering getting a lawyer and filing suit against the uninsured. You most likely won't get anything but you should get a judgement which will make life meserable for them for quite a while. There is NO EXCUSE for not having at least liability insurance.

Ok - The Cleveland Symphony was pretty good BUT - The Canton Symphony (imho) was GREAT !! Sure the architecture wasn't quite the same but the program was superior. Also, dinner at Ferraros restaurant was 1/4 the cost of downtown Cleveland.

All I can say is WOW - the building is an outstanding piece of architecture and the first Christmas show by the Cleveland Symphony was just as impressive. I would recommend attending the symphony to anyone that enjoys music. Quite an evening, except for the $6 a glass for wine at the restaurant nearby.

I wish to apologize to all on this forum for my insensitive posting regarding the "tragedy in Conn." thread. I realize that I did stray from original intent and I regret that.

Jonsey - not to worry, with the soft subtle color of your trike, nobody will notice that it's a tri-wing

I belonged to AMA when I was doing hill climbs. At the time you couldn't even register for the event without an AMA card, something about insurance. never was in abate and have not drawn the last 3 cards in several poker runs for the same reasons hog & slowrollvw mentioned.

I've noticed when people spend money in that manner do not need financing nor do they care about a warranty. They bought it just because they wanted it, we've all done it but I've not done it to that extreme. Probably a collector -

Thanks guys

Thanks, I knew there was help - even for me. However, one thing leads to anoother - solid axle or irs ? and why or why not ? I've had 3 trikes but never an IRS, always solid axle and not by choice, that's just the way they were.

Ok - everybody knows that I'm not going to do an install, but I do have a couple questions regarding an install. I am considering buying another Venture and getting it triked, probably a Hannigan since there are only 2 kits available. #1 - How does mileage on the bike affect the kit ? ie; wear on parts not replaced by the kit. #2 - Is the infamous rear shock gone with trike install ?

Good Luck with the surgery - they finally replaced my knee on the 5th operation, only took 40 years to get mine fixed.

I've had Silverado Z71's for the last 15 years, 1 was a salvage, 3 were 1 year old used and the last one 2011 new. Not one issue Never looked at a Denali -

I second that emotion - I would just as soon watch a test pattern - for those that don't know what a test pattern is, ask anybody over 50 years old.

Good Luck with re-hab, it'll not be fun for a while but you'll get thru it and you WILL be happy. btw - WiFi in the hospital is going to be at the bottom of your priority list. Percoset, cathater, and shoot the one that thought getting in and out of a car was a good idea. Please correct me if I'm wrong

Reverse on a trike is TOTALLY over rated unless you have no strength in your legs at all. A little planning with regard to parking can eliminate the need for a reverse just by letting gravity take care of it. if parking in a 'down hill' situation is unavoidable, make your approach so that you can let gravity back you into the spot. Then all you have to do is pull out. I understand talk is cheap especially coming from someone that doesn't have a screwed up back and knees but if you ride 2 up, backing is a piece of cake on a trike. Again, a little planning goes a loooooong way when riding a trike because gravity really is our friend. Good Luck with your healing and trike decisions

has anybody changed their truck interior ?
Hummingbird replied to Hummingbird's topic in Watering Hole
Stroker Ace - I've never had heated seats on any of my trucks but my has on her last several cars. On the rare occasions that I might drive her car I've used them - worth it -

A whale of a deal - we don't have a pull a part yard close enough to do that. Probably wouldn't find a '11' or newer truck in it anyway -
I bought a 2011 Silverado about a year ago when there were some great rebates and discounts but being the cheapskate that I am I decided to NOT pay the extra for the leather interior. Not really a big mistake but I decided that I wanted a leather interior in it for christmas. After a lot of research I found that the leather interior from the factory is only partially leather. No matter, in searching I found that Katzkin (in California) made the best fitting and best overall quality replacement. They are not seat covers but replacement fabric for the seat. Hope I like it because it will be redone next thursday as well as heat in both seats.
