  1. If the Albacore is like tuna, I'll pass. I see tuna at the Golden Corral buffet but I just can't eat it. Too dry, too - just don't like the pink fish. Wife make a tuna salad every once in a while and I still have to load it up with mayonnaise.
  2. Keith, if you get over-run with lobster, just let me know and I can take some off your hands, usually 4 at a time. As a matter of fact, I can send you the shipping carton including seaweed, just put 4 of them critters in it and send it back.
  3. A couple weeks ago I had a wheelin' dealin' thing going with a gentleman in New Brunswick. It turned out that he ended up owing me 6 lobsters. He couldn't get them exported from there so he had Maine Seafood overnight my lobsters to me. Got them yesterday noon and by 6:30 last evening it was all over except for a glass of wine. We had fresh lobster once when we were in Maine 15 years ago but not since. They were really good but I think for the mess they ( I ) make in preparing them, it's a lot easier to just get frozen tails and cook them especially if someone else is paying for them:thumbsup:
  4. John, glad you got rid of those pink and blue crimp on's - I would think those were designed for emergency use only, like a quick fix if you're stuck somewhere. Of all the upgrades you've done that is probably the most important
  5. Yeah, I agree with freebird Truck Car Boat Bike Trike Kimber etc - -
  6. Living in this giant hamlet of Malvern Ohio and being less than a block from the P.O. and NOT on a rural delivery route I cannot get mail delivered to my house. I have to maintain a P.O. Box. It finally became apparent to most on line sellers that some people did not have a mail man and therefore asked for a billing address and a shipping address. In my case they are not the same. Now having said that, for many years before PayPal I had one heck of a time getting on line orders because I had a P.O. Box. "I'm sorry we do not deliver to P.O. Boxes" was the common response. PayPal as well as others changed all that with the separate addressses - I use PayPal for everything I can simply for the security of the purchase.
  7. Lewis - That is just OUTSTANDING A daughter, a mother, a student and all the while maintaining a 3.8 gpa
  8. That sounds like too much fun - We have never done a Caribbean cruise but last year we did take a 2 week Mediterranean cruise around Italy, Spain and France with one stop in Croatia. Just want to be careful when ordering a beer, we got 6 draft beers and a sandwich at a side walk cafe in Nice France (it was my turn to buy) and it cost 75 euros, that's nearly $115 Did you get a balcony suite ? nothing like the sound of the wave to put you to sleep enjoy - enjoy - enjoy
  9. Bobby, not sure what that means did they photoshop your ID picture ?
  10. not much to say Don except
  11. retirement ian't all that it's bragged up to be - first, there too many decisions to make like which bike to ride, which set of fishing poles to put in the boat, do I take the cell phone with me or leave it at home, can I turn off the blue tooth on the bike, which wine tasting event to attend - it just goes on and on and on and - Congratulations, you're going to have fun
  12. Lewis - a 9mm is most likely all you would need especially if you use home defence ammo, as well, a standard clip should be sufficient. Brands are personal preference BUT you might want to search the internet for reliability. Kimber, Glock and SigSauer seem to be on top of the affordable list with regard to reliability. I got one of each, just in case
  13. HAPPY BIRTHDAY WAYNE
  14. When I bought my Binks, it was a carbon copy of the one the local Auto bdy shop used. I figued if it was good enough for them, should be ok for part time stuff
  15. I've been using a binks hvlp for almost 20 years that has sprayed gallons of paint as well as clear coat, just change tips for optimum pattern depending on the viscosity of your liquid.
  16. I beg to differ - I think HIS world ended when he became affilliated with that 35,000 yo warrior. jmho
  17. My understanding is that the Midnight model has a couple factory chrome pieces that the regular doesn't have - and it's black except for the ones that some people just can't leave alone. Congrats on finding a suitable replacement - evidently your on the heal in a timely manner
  18. The Hot Wheels video - sombody had WAAAAAAAY too much time on their hands and did a GREAT job The street markings - Don't know where it was but it reminded me of Europe, it looks chaotic but everybody just went their own way - didn't see any wrecks

  21. $2.82 in Canton, Ohio 9 miles down the road to Malvern where I live $3.24 so I run the truck down to less than 1/4 tank to make the trip worthwhile. Had to do a bunch of nonsence running around but look at the potential savings. 20 gallons X .42 = $8.40 savings - not a great deal but I have the time and it only take a gallon or so for the round trip.
  22. That's only half of it - when it starts getting chilly down there, you'll be up here where it'll be 36c or so.

  25. I respectfully dis-agree, that is a reason, I don't need excuses for anything I do. What is the decible level number in your city ? what is the decible reading of your model airplanes ? I would bet that my Venture's decible reading with RK's on it is lower that some of the rc planes at your club and wishing somebody monetary loss is really adult, congratulations on your step up
