as we used to. Late last summer (August) a friend on his '98' RSTD was on his way home and traveling one of our fine back roads here in Carroll County. Just as he went thru a slight curve, a groundhog decided to cross the road. Unfortunately the hog made it to the front wheel ( under it ) and sent the bike off into a grassy field to the right. Broken ribs, broken collar bone, broken other things, induced coma for 6 weeks, a tracheotomy (sp), numerous other things I've forgotten. Perhaps next month he'll be allowed to return home form the assisted living/rehab center. oh, I forgot - he's 79 years old, lives alone bike sustained a couple paint scratches

I didn't read all of the responses but I will say after 22 years of trips to Florida I have learned that most of the roads ARE back roads. You will do your self a favor by staying off the interstates in Fla. and especially stay off State Route 19 on the Gulf coast. From WeekiWachee South is nothing more than a death wish for anyone on a bike on 19

BigLenny - I have 2 comments, one you won't like. I can't remember any dealer trading EVEN on anything but I wish you luck in that endeavor. If you do manage a comfortable deal with the dealer and because he is a dealer, ask for a 90 day headlight to tail light warranty even if you have to pay a little for it. That would surely bring out the dealers inside knowledge of the bike if there is any to be concerned about.

Well, I let my heart over-ride my real sense. I knew Luck was darn good but I wanted to see Payton move on. So I guess 3 of 4 isn't too bad

The secret tool for TOTALLY cleaning the filters on a dyson - air compressor Really, the main body of the pull off needs to be blown out to maintain total vacuum - I can get some pictures if you want The Dyson sales rep tried to sell me a new cordless at the Hartville Tool sale last fall but when I told him I blew the body out with an air compressor he acknowledged that I was not loosing any power

When I was 12 or 13 years old I decided it would be cool to have a tattoo but parlors were not as abundant as they are now ( nor was money ) so I started giving myself a tattoo. I had decided that I would put my name (Dick) on my arm and do it in script. Three needles wrapped with thread to designate depth and to hold the india ink were the chosen instruments. I did this by myself and alone, however by the time I got part of the D partially completed, I decided that I was more of a whimp than I thought I was. So plan B came into play, shorten the tattoo to my middle name "AL". So I completed the tat and ended up with AL on my arm but nobody knew me by that name and kept asking 'who is Al ? ' I carried that with me for about 54 years and decided to have it fixed. A fine local tat artist and I decided to cover AL up with a tattoo. We decided on a Hummingbird and he designed one that we both aggreed would work so $125 later Al was gone and Hummingbird was born. -

we weren't concerned about alergies but me being a critter sap I've managed to acquire 4 cats, one raised from 2 days old and the rest are indigent strays that we took in. wish I could load a video, the one raised from 2 days old is an outstanding cat. He sits up and begs for treats, catches treats with his 'hands' and in his mouth Anyway, the Dyson gets EVERYTHING out of the carpet and there is a secret to cleaning the filters also.

Being the romatic sob that I am, "we" got a new electric range, Linda said the $700 one was OK but for a mere $300 more we got digital stuff and a convection oven and a new Dyson Vacuum. If you don't have a dyson and don't believe that guy on television, stop by and try ours - they are great !
