Lewis - beautiful display I would like to add (since I didn't tell you ) that the 4 glass holder is Butternut and Aromatic Cedar (with water proof finish) The 2 glass holders are Aromatic Cedar (with water proof finish) The Bowl is Maple and Cherry (with water proof finish) The Cheese Slicer is Oak and Walnut (with Mineral oil and beeswax rub finish with a small tub of replenish finish shipped with it) The 10" 6 sided slicing/serving board is Tiger Maple, Walnut, Poplar and Butternut (with Mineral oil and beeswax rub finish with a small tub of replenish finish shipped with it) and the 5 Bottle Wine Rack is Butternut, Cherry and Plywood (again with the waterproof finish) The items with the water proof finish WILL NOT water stain ! If there are any questions regarding these items, please don't hesitate to pm myself or Lewis. Thanks for looking and I'm confident the winners will enjoy these useful and decorative items. -
Lewis, there are 2 boxes in the mail (priority) and you should have them Wednesday or Thursday. I sent more than we talked about just in case the audience wants more choices. If there are any questions, I'll be happy to enlighten. Good Luck with the auctions and I am happy to have done my little part.

Thanks Lewis - I'll get a box packed tomorrow and in the mail to you on Monday. Should I use the address in your profile ? dick

Thanks Patti these would be a win-win for St. Judes as I'm donating pieces for the auction - there would be no upfront cost for anything meaning more $$$$ to St. Judes

Lewis, there's a slight chance some of my things, being different, may spur interest again. Below in order - a 4 wine glass holder, Cheese slicing boards, a cutting board/serving board (about 10" across ), a walnut and cedar bowl to be used for fruit not for metal utensils.

Lewis - pm on the way

I bought a 2015 version of Websters Collegiate Dictionary and looked up Master Mechanic, should have known there was a picture of Naturbar and his Morghonda ! Awesome ! and in 7 months, it would take GM, Chrysler and Ford engineers 2 years just to design that

After reading cowpuc's thread about the Golden Years I sent Don my memebership fee and decided to submit an experience of a friend. Last August he was on his way home from Canton riding his 1998 RSTD on one of our county roads. He had at the time over 140K on it and never had an incident other than a few close calls and a few words that my keyboard won't type. As luck would have it, a groundhog ran out of the ditch and into his path. It's still unclear what happened next that caused him to veer to the right and into the ditch and being thrown from the bike. He didn't have a helmet on, he has never worn one when we were riding together but he didn't sustain and head injuries in this incident. However, he did break a couple ribs, his clavicle, ruptured his spleen and brused some internal organs. Here's the article from the newspaper http://www.cantonrep.com/article/20140829/NEWS/140829135/1994/NEWS That was about 8 months ago - in that 8 months he has been home about 6 weeks, the rest of the time he was either in the hospital or a nursing home. Right now he's back in a nursing home getting diallyisis 3 times a week. It seems that one thing led to another and another etc. Bill's accident seems to be the end of an era for another rider. Puc is absolutely right about enjoying everything you can while you can before you aren't able to.

Well, my annual dues are up tomorrow, the 14th which just happens to be our 25th wedding anniversary. I'm not going to renew my membership here as I seldom have any pertinent input. It's not the $12 because that fee is not even worth mentioning when compared to the enormous amount of advice and information so readily available. I'd like to thank all that offered help and friendship thru this forum during my short stay. my last and only thing I have to offer to anybody and all on this forum is to be alert, be diligent and be SAFE !! thanks to all hummingbird aka - Dick Byrd

There's still 4 1/2 hours left and you're never outbid if you're the last bidder and you're always last bidder if you really want something.

There's nothing that compares to getting your cancelled home mortgage papers in the mail from the bank. We had that feeling 15 years ago and it still bring a tingle when I think about it. I guess next would be looking in the driveway and seeing a 2013 Silverado, a 2012 Subaru and the trike - all paid for. (except for insurance)

this will make your blood boil ...

I don't understand why he's not in Hollywood doing special effects for movies ?? -
At $100 or so a night for a motel/hotel that leaves $300 for food and fuel - probably wouldn't get much further than I would on a day ride
