    Here's the problem I have with the price of oil. If it went up to $75 tomorrow, gas would double overnight. Then let the oil prices drop significantly and gas prices drop way slower. That's what happened the last time. Oil was over $150/barrel and gas over $3.00/gal. Oil then dropped by over 40% and gas only dropped like 5%. Greed could be the only answer for what kept gas prices so high when oil was dropping like crazy. Somebody was getting "filthy rich."

    Same here. I had the battery tender brand which went south on me very quickly. I went to Wally World and bought their 20 bucker and they seem to work great. I set it on 12 volt and forget it.

    I think the US map that is colored with the states ridden in is cool. where do I get these add-ons? I also like the bar with the local temp in it. Can you guys help? I wanna have a cool profile too!!!!!

    Well, I've gone and ordered the Chatterbox mainly because of the noise reduction. The selection has been really tough because of all the choices. Seems like most everyone is using the J&M's, but I felt a little better about the Chatterbox after reading about them. I'll let you know how they do "if I ever get to ride the darn thing." The weather around here has really sucked lately.

    Any auto upholstery shop or tent and awning shop should have what you need.

    The seats are nogahide not leather. They've got some boot marks on them where the previous owner drug his heel across them. Will the dish washing liquid still work the best or go to a product like the STP Sonofagun?

    I need to clean the saddles on my MM RSV. If anyone could recommend a good product for that job it would be appreciated. Also, just wanted to say that the response I've gotten from the people on this site is fantastic. You people love your Venture's. Hope I end up enjoying mine as much. So far so good.

    Just picked it up last weekend. Had bought it sight unseen, but had my brother check it out for me. After reading some of the praise of this bike for some time on this site, I now know what you guys have been talking about. Couldn't be happier with the scoot. My wife loves it too. There's way more room on the back for her compared to my Shadow I've ridden for 5 years. Naked Rider, we'll have to get together some time for a ride or maybe meet up at Joe Ford's Custom Bikes some time. I go in there alot.

    Hey Snarly, I live in Cape Girardeau & just bought a 00 RSV MM. I've been looking for a RSV club or group that rides fairly close to me and the wife but haven't found one. I would be interested in in the meet, but I have a ride scheduled for may to Hot Springs so I don't know if I could work it out. Keep me in the loop tho in case you guys do anything else throughout the year. Slick

    I know there are lots of threads about headsets already here, but I didn't feel they applied. I've just purchased a 00 Millenium RSV. I pick it up at Thanksgiving. I would like to get a headset ordered that works with the factory plug. I've been checking the WWW and the options are way too many to know what to do Can you guys recommend the best one for this bike. I have open faced Fulmer helmets with a face shield. Thanks and love the sight.
