  1. I'll second that motion..........
  2. man, that is a good looking ride.
  3. I asked the same questions that you're asking last year. My budget wouldn't allow for the Garmin motor cycle units so my search was for the most bang for the least buck. I settled on the Nuvi 780. Features: ●MP3 player ●Blue tooth ●Routes are downloadable (is that a word? This is important if you want to take long rides and follow your own route instead of the units proposed route) ●wide screen ●easy to use ●moves easily between bike and car. ( I purchased a second ball type mount for the bike, but planning on working with Skydoc on a prototype for the 2nd gen) ●FM Transmitter, but I prefer the hardwired patch cord. If you add the mic in the Bluetooth works great. Hope this helps
  4. Sounds like CYA to me!!
  5. The EXACT same thing happened here in Cape Girardeau, MO. I drive by it every day and see an empty parking lot and wonder how long they'll be able to hold on. Service is where they're making their money as of now.
  6. I've noticed that since the economy dumped, there have been lots of the local leo's out on the interstate. They were never out on the interstate before. It's just a big ol money grab because they're not getting all of the sales tax they were getting.
  7. I'm in the same boat. Mine is coming off. I don't hate it except at 80+ mph. Otherwise I'm very happy with it. Riding 2 up and loaded, it did great on our vacation. It's only when I ride 1 up that the shimmy comes into play. But when it does, it's freakin unnerving. Guess I'm gonna try my first Avon.
  8. Dennis, where you gettin it from? At that price, I need to go looking.
  9. I didn't post any, just commenting. I had just gone to the sturgis cam and noticed all of the spots in the middle of the road where all the bikes are parked. Thought it kind of humorous. Here you go, I think this photo will load
  10. I know, not trying to be mean, just seeing what I could get stirred up on here!!!
  11. Just went to the Sturgis Cam to take a look at the aftermath of last week. The cam focuses on the downtown area, main st. I guess. The one thing that really stuck out were all of the "oil spots" all down the middle of the road where the "you know what kind of bikes" were all parked.........just sayin:rotf::stickpoke:
  12. :wow:I'm in love with that woman!! :wow:And that's all I've got to say about this!!
  13. Good on ya! Hope you enjoyed yourself. How many miles did you do with them.
  14. Bill, I'm hoping to come up. Just to early to tell yet. As soon as I can get it nailed down, I'll let you know. Ken

  16. I use Harley Ride Planner. It's excellent and transfers to my Garmin unit easily.

  19. hey ponch, you have a bunch of those on hand? What would it cost a fellow to get you to send me one? Ken
  20. Here's where I put mine. Hope this works. First time doing this from the iPhone. Edit: that's located behind the windshield on the dash in case you weren't able to tell from the photo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. That was so awesome. Just amazing what they can do and they seemed to be at such a casual pace. I love watching stuff like that.
  22. I read on a post about boots on here that one guy drives 4 nails into the heel of his left boot. He said that was enough to change the stubborn lights. Don't know myself if it works but, thought it was interesting.
