I'm a true believer in the Husqvarna. I bought the farm tough 20" after katrina for clean up. Dang what a saw. My brother-in-law brought his stihl by which was brand new, very good saw also but very heavy also had the 20" bar. I had a pretty aggressive chain on mine and was out cutting his stihl all week. By the middlle of each day, his arms would be killing him because of the weight. I told him he was just old....he's my age;alomost 50. So we traded off for a whole day. I was ready to change back after one day, good saw but heavy and the vibration was bad. He has since bought him a farm tough husqvarna. I'm a believer!

Just wanted to let everyone know that Paul is having his surgery tomorrow on his left leg. Let's all hope for the best. Get well soon Paul.

I went by and checked on Paul tonight and his new hardware is impressive to say the least. He nearly had the schematics completed on mounting the 1300 rstd engine on the wheel chair. I think he is pretty determined to ride the first chance he can. A crash like this would put most riders in a cage. He was lucky and I'm glad. Not how I wanted our first meeting to go though. Carl

Greatest hits album is the only cassett that has been played in my venture. My dad used to have an 8-track player in his old cuda, and I grew up on that music....love it!

Another good choice as a volume expander in hypovolemic shock:thumbsup: Yeh, after 18 years in emergency medicine, it's hard not to respond this way....you can never have to much good stuff in an emergency, but these saddle bag's are very limiting in that aspect.

my bad. How could I forget, and a GPS for flight coordinates. What else are we missing here, I know there's something.

I'm impressed guy's. Pretty comprehensive kit's there. Add 2 large bore/14 Ga. IV catheters, 2 bags of normal saline, c-collar, spine board, 2 pack's of vicryl suture on a PS3 needle, lidocaine injectable;no epi...... I think that'll do.

Yeh Walter, I wish I could. Of course I have to work. Ya'll alway's do these things when I'm on.... I think it's a conspiracy. I heard somone was going to have a color tune there too, man that's just the thing I want to do to the old girl. Maybe next time. One would think in 4 year's I could have a day off when there's a md goin on.

Think I got transmission issues
Caveman replied to eds's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Yeh, I did just the sky doc spring kit. My disc's were fine, just sanded them down a tad to rough them in a bit and this thing hooks up like never before. Go for it.- 17 replies

Being a trike, I'm surprised you got that many miles out of it. You could jack up the right side and not drain the oil, however.- 17 replies

Another bad fuel pump
Caveman replied to Caveman's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Thank's guy's. I guess I'll have to do without it for a couple of day's and bring it to the dealer for the Mitsubishi pump. Think I'll also get a back up for the trunk. -
Went out tonight to start my bike, pulled the choke, turned the ingnition on....no fuel pump clicking. Pushed the starter switch anyway, fired right up but low idle rpm's with choke on....not good. Tried to give a little throttle....died . Recycled the ignition no clicking, no starting. Put the cover back on her and got in the Tahoe and went to work a very unhappy soul. I think a new fuel pump is coming. I think it has been intermittent for a few weeks now though. Never died or left me stranded but I would notice the pump not clicking after being parked for a day or more. I think when I tried starting the bike maybe the pump made connection then and I could'nt here it over the starter/engine turning over and she would ignite. I still have warranty till November, but I don't know if I should take it in. My luck, is when I get it there, it will work just fine and I will be out my bike for a week. Are you guy's having good luck with your after market $45.00 pumps? If so, I will just go buy one of those and be done with it. Thanks, Carl

Man, I'm really liking that, especially the dark chrome pieces. Keep up the good work.
