I'd say it's worth repairing. As already said, it looks mostly cosmetic. If you can find the parts used, it will be much cheaper. Even brand new with factory paint would be worth the cost if you had to go that way , in my opinion.
COLD is one thing...heck, I prefer to ride in the cold with all my safety garb, but that white stuff is a game changer. I'll take the southern summer heat any day!
Congrats Boomer ya done good. Went through it when my oldest became a US Marine. On a side note; as a professional in the medical field, trauma nurse for twelve years now administrative, corpsmen are top notch! Not your run of the mill er techs.

I see it the same as alchohol, or cigarettes. If they decide to legalize it, I hope they leave it as mother nature intended it...unmolested! I don't smoke, but as said, to each his/her own.
