Yeh, that's one heck of a burito too. They have a 5 pounder that's unbeleivable! I have eaten at the one in College Station/ Bryan Texas a few times. Wish you would open one up in Mississippi Freebird....

First of all, welcome to the site and enjoy the Venture. I'm not hearing the noise, may be my computer, but I doubt very seriously you would be needing a valve job with only 5,000 mi on that bike. Hopefully someone with more knowledge and better computer speakers will jump in here and help. Good luck. Carl

Sorry, I listed the wrong number. The real number is 228-697-4161. The bike was an '83 Burgundy color.

how many miles with no valve adjustment??
Caveman replied to kyle's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I just turned over 27,000 on mine and went straight to the shop with it. They gave me a price of $500 plus shims. If it weren't under warranty I would do it myself. As it is I fully expect to have to re-sync my carbs and adjust throttle play,... things like that, when I get her back. They have had her a month already but also doing clutch basket and rear shock warranty work. I do miss her sooo! -

This is why I went with the modular HJC Sy-max II w/ built in sun visor. Great helmet easy to drink, talk, etc.

** Above and beyond the Call of Duty ** skydoc_17
Caveman replied to SilvrT's topic in Watering Hole
I just did the same clutch upgrade from Skydoc_17 as well. My new clutch does exactly the same as your's did SilvrT; engages at the end of the release. I have adjusted to it and actually like it that way now and I can say it is not slipping anymore that's for darn sure. I hope this doesn't cause an issue however. If not, I'm leaving it just as is. -
Sorry to hear this Annie. Prayers sent from Carl and Pam.
