I shipped the "pass it on" windshield a couple months ago and it was done in plastic wrap then bubble wrap. All was well. FedEx person told me it was actually less likely to be damadged, because they could see what it was. Put the shipping lable right on the wrap and sent it.
As a trauma nurse for 15 years, I have to agree also. This injury is treated just like a very bad burn and rated in the same way. Glad you are doing well. Good advice from ole Puc there too. Take care!
Thanks for the comments/ response guy's. Almost as much fun as my bike. Endless parts/ upgrades. I could rebuild this jeep part by part if I needed to, I mean you can find anything you need for them easily.
Had it about a tear now. She is ready to be seen in public now though. 1997 wrangler. Ain't she purty? I love this thing. My first jeep! I have been missing out.
i Let it go to 6,000 miles. I've read studies that showed it had no significant breakdown after 9 or 10,000 miles. Works for me. Gonna be alot of opinions on this one.
I have the Diamond R backrest. Best add on I've put on my bike. Diamond R is one of our sponsered retailers too. Great folks and products. Matches OEM upholstery, easy install and adjustable. http://www.venturerider.org/banners.php?op=click&bannerid=11
My replacement points are holding up perfectly. About 8,000 miles on mine. I wonder...my bike is an '07 also. Could they have had a bad run on these things?
