We really like our HF trailer and we put a sears cartop carrier on it (check my pic's) Looks good and pulls great. Don't even know it's back there. Only problem I had was the fenders fell off (metal fatigue) due to road vibrations. First thing to do is reinforce the fenders...........Ron

I dont know but I may be doing something wrong. I get this message when I put in my location.. Bad Location Your location is invalid! Please select the location from the drop down list and press TAB! Thanx FREEBIRD and all of you contributers. I really like having this and am going to move it to my laptop as soon as I get them back, harddriv crashed on both laptops. I just never stops. Now I have a water pipe thats leaking and need to fix it. Always something....Ron

Thanks Don I don’t know where the file would be, I have looked in control panel and add/remove files but not finding anything resembling VR. I have found it in the screen saver in the display section but I cannot copy or move or even delete a file from there. With these type computer anymore there is not a need for a screen saver I just think it’s cool to look at the bikes when I leave the computer for a while. If you’re going to put one together let me know I’m interested in a new one. THANK YOU Don....

Quite a few years ago someone made a VENTURERIDER screen saver for us here and I wanted to take it and copy it off my home computer and copy it to my laptop. But I am not very computer savvy and don’t know how?? I have looked all through the past posts and could not find the screen saver labeled VENTURERIDER SCREENSAVER so it must of been before the crash. It is really a great screen saver with our member’s pictures of their bikes. If any of you know how I can copy the one I have so I can move it, I would greatly appreciate it. Lots of nice bikes are on this one. It would be really cool if I could post pictures of my bike with them but I might be asking way too much with this one, Just to be able to make it portable would be enough. But on the other hand someone may want to take on a project of making a new screen saver and get members to send them pictures. As the saying goes IF I knew how I would be glad too! Just a thought..............Ron

In a heartbeat. Absolutely!! Owned the 1100, 1200, 1300 Venture I just hope Yammy keeps the same bike just ups the engine cc's to say 1400 or higher with fuel injection and electronic do-dads, gizmo's and whotnots.:cool10: This bike makes me feel all warm and fuzzy..

1999 to 2013 is a 2nd Gen!! 1983 to 1993 are 1st Gens 1st and foremost there are no stupid Questions. Welcome to the site The fairing issue I personally prefer the handle bar mounted rather then frame mounted. I like the fairing to turn in the direction of the front wheel. Have owned both and just like the handle bar mount......Ron:cool10::cool10:

There are those that will drop/wreck their bike and those that have. I think if someone is on 2 wheels it will happen at some point in time. So ride safe and always look before you set your feet down........Ron:cool10::cool10:

O.K. here are some pics of the lights and tail. The HID headlight has a High and Low beam. For $49.00 I don't think that's to bad. I got a few PM's from members here wanting to know the price of all the C-D stuff so I'll tell everyone on the site. Total with what was mentioned from Custom Dynamics was $294.90 out the door free delivery. The headlight is bright and crisp and shines down the road real nice. The brake is to cool my wife said she could see me a mile up the highway and knew when I put the brakes and turn signal on to exit the highway. So I am very happy and satisfied with my purchases. What a GREAT SITE here! Lots of good people....Ron

I did not post pictures because so many others before me have of the same lights. I am gonna post pictures of the inserts and of the buttons I put on my dash for the garage openers.

Well I got to tell you how much I appreciated all of the help here. I got all the lights installed and I must tell you they are Awesome. They are adjusted properly and when I hit the bright light I can see at least a mile down the road. The turn signals made a huge difference and that back brake light is blinding with the other brake lights. Very cool......... What a GREAT SIGHT :cool10:

Well it seems there is some out there, and if someone is getting rid of the one they have I still have a chance to find one. So Condor is the one on your bench for sale?? Thats what I'm looking for I'm Just checking. The original one I saw was chrome or polished aluminum. If it had to be black so be it. Anyway keep us abreast of your progress. Thank you but thats not what Im looking for. I used to have a picture of it but I lost it when my computer crashed. It fits on the gas tank inplace of the original pod and holds a tachometer and another gauge. Thanks again I know someone has one they may want to get rid of....Ron:cool10:

I know I'm probaby beating a dead horse but I would sure like to find a Gauge Pod for my Black Beauty. Hopefully someone may have one to sell or Maybe someone can make one who has access to a CNC, If I had access I would make me some and sell um. So I'm just checking...............Ron

Thanks for all the input, I really appriciate it. I never use my high beams with the driving lights I have (4) plus the new headlight I should never need brights. My driving lights have always been brighter then my headlight. I never used my brights anyway. I am just excited to have the new lights that are brighter then the ones I have.

Well I jumped off a ledge and bought these for the VENTURE. I wanted to post what I bought so if any other member is looking for the same thing it makes it easy. I drilled 2 holes in my work bench, and bolt it on then I can clean them inside and out while standing there looking good:)............Ron
