Had a hard day today,I am sore just about all over but still a beautiful day. Wanting to get the bike ready to ride when the Doc gives me the go ahead. Went to do a simple job of replacing my rear rotor and pads. Easy enough right"right" So a fellow VENTURERIDER (CMCOFFEY) comes over to give me a hand and some company.(very cool) I value friends and good company as well as conversation. We sat out on our journey at 9am with tools and high hopes of a short job. Wrong OH batman, we finished at 1700 so much for a quick job. Any way it was a great day. CMCOFFEY is a GOOD Man He is half my age and did most of the work,I must say with out him it may of taken me a week to get it done. I am not kidding, they're was more then one set back. Now I need a new rear tire and the Black Beauty will be ready to ride. I have said it more then once, THERE are no better people then the ones I have met here at VENTURERIDER. thank you again CMCOFFEY.

I have added a lot of stuff but the one I think is the best and gets the most complements from people (after they say WOW) is eusa1 "the diamond cut guy" for the heads. The other is a loud horn. That's what I would do if I was you.

When in Stugis this last Aug I seen this one mounted to a bike and talked to the rider. He was telling me he had a go pro white and upgraded to this one and did not like it. He gave me a few reasons why and I don't remember what he said because I truly took it off my list. I ran across-ed another biker who had a go pro Silver and he also upgraded from the white and truly loved his silver and the explanations were as follows. Pictured quality from 1080 to 750 is not that noticeable Battery lasts a lot longer at 750 Videos are very good and clear Simple and easy to set up So on his recommendation this is the one that we are getting for our bikes and after all my research it is a real mobile and compact unit.

How much do you pay for FULL coverage insurance on your 2nd gen?
kantornado replied to VentureFar's topic in Watering Hole
We pay 929.00 year full coverage on my 02 Venture and on the wiffles 07 trike through GIECO. Before moving to Nevada we payed 116.00 a year F/C and 1.00 to cover all chrome and accessories for a total of 117.00. OH I long for the good old days. -

I cut sodapop out of my drinks because you have to walk 5 miles to burn the calories off. I gave up diet pop because its made with Aspartame it has 10 really bad side effects. 1)Eye Problems 2) Headaches and Migraines 3) Diabetic Issues 4) Prevention of Weight Loss 5) Enhances Mood Disorders 6)Inflammation and Joint Pain 7)Stomach Cramps 8)Increased Risk of Seizures 9)Hearing Problems 10) Controversial Cancer Studies. I lost 35 lbs the 1st month and your right water is a great drink. I drink more of it then I ever have and I feel better.

Truly fond memories of DQ's in and around the midwest. My good friend and I on 2 different trips to Sturgis S.D. taking different routes stopped in every town at every DQ if they had 1 or 5. It created great memories.

We got to Brown high school in Stugis about 10 to 9 and looked around asked if anyone was a venturerider. No one was? Stayed till 1030 even asked in a loud voice if there were any ventureriders in the building and no answers. So we guessed the day and time changed. Better luck next time. Did see a black venture with texss plates on it in the parking lot. But never seen the rider.

My NAVIGATOR does not like them. My daughter did not like them. friends wife also did not like them. Here are the complaints they had. Hard on the Knees, hard to put up while going down the road. (hard for them to put up while riding). Feet slip off ( have to apply pressure) and give's leg fatigue. Here are mine If the passenger tries to put them up and your not aware of it all that moving around will cause a pucker factor. I have to remind them to pull them up as we come a stop and if there feet are on them it will definitely interfere with you putting your feet down on your floorboards or on the ground. Also backing up with them down can be a pain in the calves. they are a safety hazard if your coming to a swift stop. So highway use only is recommended. I keep them on the bike cause I bought them, they are SAFETY CHROME and just kinda look cool. Hope this helps you out a little. I thought adding the pegs would be a great fit for the NAVIGATOR with different leg positions but it did not turn out that way. We where both disappointed. Other people seem to like them and I am glad it works for them. Sadly the only way to know is for you to buy them and see if it works for her. The plus side is IT'S CHROME...

Mr OWL this really comes as a shock (you retiring) I thought you already was retired. Just goes to show one never really knows someone. Well congratulations on a job well done (keeping you working a secret) So in a couple weeks you will be able to do all the things your already doing. Except you can say your retired and that makes it official. VERY COOL
