Cooler Rack for my trailer - Recommendations
kantornado replied to petekadish's topic in Watering Hole
Popeye that is something I hope I never have to invest in. Butt it looks good on you:rotf:.................Ron -
Dynodon your right about never trying. I don't ride amusement rides when I got there and asked the guy at the carnival if they had a Ferris wheel and he says ya that over there. Times change and rides change, when is the last time you saw a rottary phone. OH well it was a nice day great ride and had fun getting the pic. Now on to the next challange............................Ron

I ask one of the carnies at the park if they had a Ferris wheel the guy pointed to this and I got the picture. After reading your post I went back and asked the guy at the park who runs the ride and he told me some people do call it a Ferris wheel but its real name is Zipper. Now I am totally embarrassed on a world wide web site...................Ron

Cooler Rack for my trailer - Recommendations
kantornado replied to petekadish's topic in Watering Hole
The need for a cooler is that not everyone wants to pay 3 bucks every time they stop for a drink. I drink allot of water I put my plastic jugs in the freezer and carry them in the cooler as well as apples, oranges, fruit bars or what ever. As you young bucks get older you will understand. I did and said the same thing up until I hit about 50. I bet I take allot more potty breaks now then you do also. When I was younger in my early 20s I thought those old guys where just milking it at work with as many times as some went to the restroom. Well age and wisdom has taught me different. If your body has not started to hate you yet your in luck. Mine on the other hand is getting tired of all the crap I have put it through. I can't even have a beer without it going straight through me, might as well drink it standing in the bathroom:rotf:...........................................Ron -

I like how you think. What a great idea and wished I would of thought of it first. It is a easy job to do too!! You can buy a cooler rack that fits into your trailer hitch already made. GW. 89 bucks or build one for 50 bucks or less depending on your skill level. http://www.dauntlessmotors.com/hitch-pages/honda1800cc.htm Then attach it on top of the tongue of the trailer with the receiver end facing back towards the rear of the bike. Square u-bolts to clamp it down and WHA-LAHH you have a duel purpose cooler holder. Man you had a great idea.....................................Ron:cool10::cool10: -

I don't need a handicap plate but I always find parking by the front door. At WM, KM, Sams club, Albertsons, Cub, Target there is always parking near the bike racks on the sidewalk and have never had a problem. I just make sure the bike is out of the walkway so people can pass by. At a Mall in MN I was given a warning by a rent a cop and chased him down to ask him about the warning and he told me that it was the malls policy. I contacted the mall and explained about the bike sinking in the asphalt and if they could make a spot for motorcycle parking. The next spring the mall put up a sign for motorcycle parking. Just my worth........................................Ron

Popeye you had a BEAUTIFUL 86 with allot of CHROME how the heck did that happen during shipping. It looks as tho it was submerged in salt water. I hope the carrier is responsible for the damage and it suxs for the buyer. I know if I would of got something like that I would be P.O. to say the least. Did you take pictures as they crated it?? to cover your butt. If not you should probably make a thread for other overseas sellers of things to do while shipping overseas. Say pictures of bike as they pack it, bills of shipping or any-other documents, I feel bad for the buyer............................Ron

Mariner Fan got it right for me and a 600 watt charging system would be great. The bike now is allot better then previous models (that's progress), but for the 3rd Gen All of Mariner Fan's suggestions are pretty good MP3 player is better then any CD and we could load our own tunes I would even like it to be able to plug a 3 or 8 gig flash drive in. I have been researching ways to do just that (flash drive).....................Ron

You realize that an antique such as a first gen. like some snowbirds, needs to retire to a warmer climate like Florida so they can deteriorate with dignity. Ruffrider that statement made me laugh out loud and tears welled up. The tag line is a classic.(deteriorate with dignity) Thank for the laugh..........Ron

FROGMAN I am with you I hate thieves and liars. Redneck I like how you think. A 16 inch trap is a great idea and if FROGMAN has bears in the area its even better. INJUNJOE has the right idea just have signs made saying there are bear traps out in your woods to protect your property. If some thief gets caught in it to bad, you had signs saying you were trapping bears. Works for me..............................Ron

Condor is exactly correct. My good friend of 33 years lives in Butte and when I received this e-mail 3 months ago I happened to be on the phone with him. Dennis said he never herd of it, so I researched SNOPES and found it to be false also. SNOPES is my first stop when I receive e-mails sighting facts and I find most are fiction or near truths but made to sound GREATER then they really are. Not trying to flame here. Because I got raked over the coals by my daughter for passing out a e-mail of false info 3 tears ago. So now I check out the facts.......................Ron

Good on you GIRL. Glad your life is going in a positive direction and the kids moved to a more safer place. Murderapolis is just not a good place and St Paul is not much better. Our kids moved to small towns and they love it.(surprised us) Nice looking TAT and CROW looks to be a good guy. I have always been impressed with your son, he is a smart young man. I'm excited you have your daughter and grand-kids there also. It is fantastic that when life gives you lemons you make lemonade out of them.......................................Ron

Sturgis has just become to PC anymore. More like Disneyland then the bike rally it used to be. I also have some really old T's :rotf:...........Ron
