Just one or two observations. 1- Ain't Russ just precious in his little jump suit... 2- Gary looks dapper running that grinder.... The counter weight can be made to slip on and off the lid so you don't add more permanent weight to the cooker so it's lighter when you need to move it. Good job guys that's a real good looking roaster......................Ron

That is the 2nd bit of FANTASTIC news I have herd today Don. My good friend also named Don finely went in and got a colonoscopy and they found and removed 3 very large polyps. I have been bugging him to do this for 2 years. We hope there benign and will know in a week. I pray they are and that your also disapears..........................Ron

What Squidley said! I have never had a problem with receiving my tires. I order and they have delivered at a more then fair price. Of course I never have had to try and get in touch with them aether. There service has always been prompt and to my door in a timely manor 3 to 7 days and for me thats pretty good it's mail order. Freebird recently shipped me something and it took 13 days to get to me. You talk about a slow boat............Ron

It is a sad thing people have to do this type of stupidity. Had a guy once who hit my bike and was going to run but could not get out with out running over me. I had someone burn holes on the inside of my helmet with a cigarette, slice my cover with a knife, break my toggle switches and key my car.There are people who are just jealous or envious of what others have or they are just plain mean. It would be nice to catch them tho.......................Ron

Make your trip as easy on you as you can. As you go through security Drivers lic and passport, Slip on shoes (no metal in them),wear socks, No belt or one with no metal clasps, coin purse ( makes it easy and fast) I put keys and coins in it and can grab and go. If you smoke bring zippo or matches. I have brought my helmet in my carry on bag and pack clothes around it In your shaving bag travel containers of shampoo, toothpaste, cologne, go in a plastic bag. I usually don't bring any because I can get the stuff at the first hotel I stay at and usually at no cost as complementary. Targets are usually around any corner and I can get what I need there. Makes traveling light and a little easier. Enjoy the trip be careful on the way back and Pinch SQUIDLY'S behind :rotf:and give LONNA a GREAT BIG HUG for me................................Ron

Here is my take on this. It really does not matter how many places one throws out to have the 2009 rally. It comes down to WHO WILL BE WILLING TO THROW IT TOGETHER. Picking locations is great but who in that state is going to do the leg work to get it off the ground. I read allot of post by people who want it in the state of there choosing but as you read there post it is not them volunteering to put it together. The guys did a great job in Colorado and kitchner. So who volunteers for the 09 and we go from there for a vote. JMO............................Ron

That is not true Mr.OWL, Iowa and Neb have some great sites to see along the way. My daughters live in Colorado and I am very familiar with traveling from MN to CO. I have stopped at every point of interest along the way and have taken different routes to and from. A lot depends on what route is taken and how much of a leisurely ride one takes. The one stop that is a must is the Veterans Rock off 80 at the Greenfield exit hi-way 25 south. I have stopped there 6 times and it is a GREAT little stop. Another stop I like is the Stuhr museum in Grand Island and the Archway in Kearney,NE. Eating along the way I prefer truck stops there are a few good one's, but my favorite is Bosselman truck-stop in Grand Island, NE There is a good place in Julesburg for ice-cream. You will have a nice ad-VENTURE. Lots of good memories and you will make some too!!...............Ron

JB It's a good idea you have, I had never herd of kojaycat. There schematics are really nice and if we did not have a 5000 member web site I would say it would be great idea to buy them. This crap just really irritates me, I would like to know how they got my full name. I only use it for official documents I never ever have used my full name on anything that was not a legal document. I never do those chain e-mails (getting to know you) that ask questions of what I am wearing or time I get up. The sender says just for fun "tell me about yourself" and its always someone I know sending the crap and they put way to much info on it. To bad there is no real recorse. But on the bright side I can get 3.4 mil if I give him more info. My friend took his saddle bag off and took it to a lock smith. I have a plastic credit card type door room key from a hotel we stayed at with my house key and both car keys, bike key laid out flat on it and covered with 3 inch clear tape in my wallet. It has saved me more then once................Ron
